Bitcoin FINALLY hit $30k

I was referring to the one you put with all the arrows pointing to it (not Coinbase):

^ that page.
Sure but you said "because it's <a href='link to coinbase homepage'>not</a>" and so it seemed like there was something on Coinbase proving that Tether is currently not fully collateralized.

No problem is adding that link was a mistake, it was just confusing bc it looked like you were referencing the Coinbase homepage for some reason.

So yeah, true. A single page called transparency is shitty proof that they're actually collateralized. Logically though Tether would have to be able to back up the data they put there, as it would actually constitute as a legally binding record of the collateral they have stored.

Because they're providing specific data and figures per fiat they have in collateral, they would be committing fraud, and not just fraud - about the highest level of fraud at the scale of billions of dollars with the CEO and other managerial staff being potentially personally liable for fraud and having to do significant prison time if that was the case.. combining that with the fact that if a regulator asked them to provide proof that at the time that notice was up that the corresponsing funds were in storage, it's not something they can just make up.

What I'm saying is they would have to be the stupidest people on Earth to publicly claim to have those funds on their website and then not have them because it's easy for regulators to prove one way or another, and the repercussions of committing fraud at that scale would be many of the C-level management of a multi-billion dollar company destroying their lives by being sent to prison for a minimum of 5 years each.

Doesn't seem likely to me, especially consider that the guys running Tether/Bitfinex/iFinex are all multi-multi-multi millionaires and don't need to fuck around with risks like that. They did screw around with collateral in the past, but that was pre-2016/2017 and since then things have changed a lot in the crypto space.

I think bitcoin price is way too high at this point

This has to be manipulated,

People are going to get seriously burned.

Well that's why the $1.4 Trillion Dollar lawsuit is a $1.4 Trillion Dollar lawsuit.

Nothing good coming for the crypto world
Things have change..."they" have take the control over it.

Can someone explain which indicators regulate whether the coin will more worth or less?

demand determines the price as we know or does this not fit for bitcoins?

Btw send me some coins I’ll send 4x back

People who think Bitcoin is going to drop to $10k are in for a big shock after we keep hitting new ATH's this year.
This is just the beginning, for anybody who hasn't already read the Bitcoin whitepaper please do so.
Bitcoin is an absolute global game changer in the financial sector. A 6 figure valuation in the next few years is not only realistic, but for those 'in the know', it's already a done deal.
