WTB, HAF, WTF? Acronyms and jargon, busted

After reading a few threads, I started searching in the search bar. LOL, I should have done in the beginning only to avoid some confusion.

Very useful, but I was surprised just how much I already knew, a lot of this stuff must be a lot more common knowledge or used in TV and movies now.

Is Junior VIP a must have to sell on the Market place, or can you sell in the market place by just paying USD 30 without any additional subscription?

A Jr.VIP or Marketplace seller subscription is required to be able to create a marketplace thread. The $30 fee is an additional cost to get your thread live once approved.

As with any community, there are some acronyms and lingo that get used a lot around here, and when you’re new, it might as well be a different language. So, here are the most common ones, explained. If you’ve used forums before, or are an old hand in the IM industry, some of these will be familiar. But for those who are entirely new, it’s handy to know what they all mean.

Edit 29 April 2019: You guys have come up with some great suggestions to add to the list, so I've updated this post accordingly. Thanks to @Takurah, @shafi432, @Davidnike, @Bruno Adas, @AUSTINS.CLUB, @BrainAkeju, and @reuse for your contributions.
