Its exciting to see if things will really get back to normal once the vaccine rolled out. If no, there will be mayhem. People are sick and tired of this crap.

I am in Thailand at the moment. Sunday they suddenly found 500+ cases, almost all migrant workers. Today 300+ more. Guess what? 90% were asymptomatic. If they wouldn't have test them, they would never figure this out. Its a shitshow.

I can honestly say I've never had someone I know die from the regular flu or the common cold. Not even a friend of a friend or even a passing aquantance. Not even a grandparent or friends grandparent.

In the last year I've known two people who have died from covid. It is not the same as the regular flu.

I'm from the UK, this isn't about the virus.

This is about brexit.

This strain has been proven to be around since November and it's suggested as early as September. Would be an incredible coincidence if the EU was not infected with it after 2 months of travelling. The french have closed their borders for 48 hours to the UK, they want our waters for fishing, and we will not give it to them.

Wouldn't surprise me if they tried to force the UK into giving up fishing rights to allow us back into France over Christmas.

I have family in the UK and it sucks.

My parents have lost friends. Granted they were over 70, but so are my parents. I had hoped to bring them to Australia for their Golden wedding anniversary in 2021 but that looks like an impossibility given the current situation.
