I have a question about starting movie streaming website. I am thinking to run it from my home using my own server.
The server specs are:

Intel Core i5 8600K
16GB RAM
256GB SSD HDD
20TB HDD WD Red Edition

1 GB upload stream. / unlimited bandwidth...

What do you think? Is this enough for movie streaming website?

I plan to host them. I think 20TB is OK for movies with 400 and 700p quality. I come from country where piracy is not that much of a problem.

Have you thought about hosting your files on a third party ? Like doodstream.com, vidoza.net... They pay 30$ per 10k view and give you unlimited storage and high video loading speed.

Does that country don't follow copyright law or something??.
What hosting he use and since when he is on this journey.

Just check his domain on semrush. This is his 4th domain. Other 3 got closed. He operates more then 7 years. Atm I think he is banking from netu
