So I'm going to be diving into movie streaming. I have past experiences before with streaming out anime content and using Gdrive and Facebook/Youtube private videos then just linking them out with proxy servers. Things worked well but the videos are getting takedown constantly and plus the creation of accounts costings are way more expensive but still getting a considerable amount monthly.



Right now I'm going to do full blast p2p setup for 3 niches.

- Movie
- Series
- Anime

Sources : Gonna be grabbing videos directly from Streaming services such as netflix/hbomax/star/hotstar/viu/disney+ and etc

For now my grabber works on the sites above mentioned and still working on others.

MY intial costing will be 2K on the tool doesn't include the grabber as it's custom.

The good thing about the tool is.

- I don't need to backup any files
- No DMCA complaints completely hidden links/server info.
- Doesn't drain the bandwith of the server Approximately 30-40% of the bandwith will be used as it has a loadbalancer.
- File will stay up as long as server is up
- No need for JWplayer has own player and can just link your own ads supports popular ad types.

Approximately A few hundred for the VPS. Already got some cheaper alternatives but these are the specs of what I'm going to be using.

Hi, thanks for sharing the journey. Can I ask how are you going to monetize the videos ? I am already running a streaming site but still don't have a clue which ads networks to monetize. Are you considering in video ads ? What would be a good network for those ? Thanks !

How many users are you expecting to be online at a time? Isn't that a hefty price to pay for no. of real-time users on site ($250 monthly for 3k real-time users). What happens if the number of users increases further than that?

Hardest part is getting people to your site because the market is terribly saturated, but then again if you're hosting your own video files that might be your leg up - videos load faster and not as broken. The monetization is key - I would avoid doing a subscription service (that's where a lot of these companies get in trouble - they go after these sites harder).

This is same idea with me !
But i think one problem is here . This is a problem about "SEO" . Not a platform of this . Maybe u have a nice site with nice platform with this but u need a time ( maybe long time ) to get traffic .
If u are lucky , u will got huge traffic !

@CyHead - I have in the past. I didn't host the videos and monitoring/managing links is pretty much a full time job. In the past, it wasn't a saturated market, so people would put up with broken links here and there.

But now, people will flock off somewhere else and they want it to load fast, be error free and ad blocking is more prevalent. So the margin is lower because even though you can force people not to adblock, people will find loopholes or just go elsewhere.

Hosting the video is a good option to get rid of broken links, but it adds extra risk since eventually the MPAA & Hollywood will be chasing after you. Even in DMCA ignored hosting, they are relentless - they will go to Google to get your pages pulled, social networks to get your links pulled. The only thing in your court is you host your videos so you can get word of mouth traffic pretty easily.

It's decent money, but personally I'm at a point in my life - where I don't want to assume that level of risk.

The link checks - yes, but getting video content was scraped.

It seems easy until you start to have 100k+ video links hosted across multiple sites.

As I said, if you host the video yourself - you eliminate a lot of the work, but there's increased risk.

There no server service online or dmca or offshore that will protect you from any dmca claims when huge companies are afther you.

There use the best online and spend thousands to millions to catch you there budget unlimited to jail you.

I really would consider a legal business this is very dangerous these days.

Even the afflicte will help the fraud squad as the big boys are so powerful.

I a bit confuse about your setup, Would you mind clarify below things

You said:

You mean you want to stream from their servers, so no bandwidth cost for you? If you can achieve that, Its really a crazy move and you deserve a nobel IT prize for that


In regards to your setup I think you will host videos in your master servers and not streaming directly to end users from netflix/hbomax or ...
and your slave servers are for your CMS but end users will see IP of your master servers(streaming servers) not your load balancer
