Hi oldenstylehats,
this is what i am trying to achieve if i can explain it correctly and specifically:
Lets say i have a exercise training forum/membership site and you sign up for a membership (3 memberships - Silver, gold and platinum plus)
And you get the 'Silver' and when you log in there you have your exercises and help info tips and tricks. But for you to come in and have a massive amount to wade through may look a bit daunting and actually put you off coming back - too much info overload!
But if you come and join with a decent amount to get you going and then each week new exercises are and tips are adding (dripping it in is what i would call it) but added to your account only. NOt added to joe who has signed up 3 weeks prior as he has already had his info or to sally who will lets say join in 5 weeks time.
What this will do is...
1, not overload them with to much info
2, it looks like they are getting value for money seeing new stuff added.
3, based on you been signed up lets say 8 weeks, the info is specific to you or anyone else at the 8 week point and now you can give them bonus's at specific stages.
This i thought you could do with the FG software pulling in the scraped content but releasing it accordingly to when the individual signs up. Like i said before, it is like an autoresponder sending out emails with info and you know somewhat that after 10 emails or 7 emails after giving them quality info, to send them an offer of some sorts.
I hope that is was more clear?
Let me know your thoughts.
Cheers
ps so i can on the 12th week for example offer you 50% discount to the paltinum plus account based on your time in the forum/membership site.
Basically it allows to be more strategic to the individual at specific times for specific offers, rather than just mailing every one at once.
