Gary Vaynerchuk. Watch him.

I've met Sadhguru a few times. This was ten years ago when he wasn't very popular in mainstream media. I worked as a volunteer in Isha Yoga.

Sadhguru is a different dimension I haven't necessarily learned about wealth generation from him, but learned how to conduct myself in negotiations, inclusive expansion (that is, not to squeeze value out of the other person but Collab with him/her for a win-win deal).

I'm following Naval Ravikant closely since the last 6 months only. And I notice that his tweets about money and happiness is inclined towards Sadhguru's teachings.
i dont feel its teaching, its just as simple as looking at things as it is. My dad did not tell me that. How simple is that. Thats all there is to this human life. Just look at every aspect of life just the way it is, game over for all bullshit motivation speaker.

I think he's pretty good but he's also very repetitive in my opinion, it's useless watching lots of his content because he always says the same thing, that goes around you're still young, just do it, you have nothing to lose, don't listen to the haters and other things similar to that.

I'm still trying to figure-out why people talk about that guy.
All of his videos, he seems to think he's a great king of the Earth... LoL ...

I frankly think he's a tool.
No ugliness intended to those who appreciate the dude, but give me just a regular guy who is actually doing things, over him, any day of the week.
There are some regular dudes, like "Measure School" on YouTube, for example, who have a great attitude, and actually show you how to do something practical, and worth something.

This idea that making money is a matter of mental gymnastics, I think, is a huge fraud.
I really don't like Gary V's attitude, in that regard, and I can't remember seeing any sort of practical and functional advice given to the contrary.

There are lots of guys like him, out there, and I think following those characters is a waste of time, and certainly a waste of money.
You are much better-off watching a free guide on how to do something practical, which can actually make you money, or making sales calls, or writing emails, or making a new product, etc.

When you give your time to guys like that, you are making many passive and implied statements about the value of your time and energy in relation to theirs.
Then, those guys go and bash you to bits, before trying to reconstruct your thinking, so that you are sitting-around to be spoon-fed by their fake motivation.

Real progress isn't glamorous in the day-to-day, but after some time, and some consistent action, the results come.
So, just put your time into what matters. Shame-on-you for reading this motivational bashing post. LoL :p

Also, please stop talking about Naval Ravikant.
That's a similar joke.

Check his offices, how terrible they are and also please check how underpaid his workers are (difficult jobs for min wage).
Perhaps, he's motivating them to leave their job and set off as entrepreneurs. Extra wages just makes them more dependant. After all, marketing heads don't treat employees like their siblings.

Check out Andy Frisella. IMO the realest guy out there, doesn't sell courses. He has a podcast in which he doesnt even run ads. In the podcast he gives really good advice about business and life.

"Grinding"/"Success"/"Motivational" gurus all seem like some of the most transparent people on the planet to me.

Doesn't mean they can't provide advice that's useful sometimes, but their whole vibe seems fake as shit.

go watch some people who don't have money to eat, houses to live in. Skip 2 meals of the day and you will feel the hunger that's the best motivator.

thanks.

I like how Gary thinks, haven't followed him this year at all but last year, I thought I was in love with the man! :)

Seriously, he motivates you and you can also get some nice ideas from him.

Gurus dont get guests like CEO of linkedin and mastercard, nor do they get praise from A star celebrities like the Rock.

Nor do they make huge predictions like the death of blackberry

Mine too. Actually, he's the only "guru" that I follow. He's straight forward and genuine. Even read one of his books. Even tho the book is not that great and in some cases, I don't agree with him, I still admire him as a person.

Blackberry is still around and a good CEO could lead them to even challenging Apple in the future.

Their share price went from 131 USD to 4USD, that's pretty dead to me

i am wondering now, i will look everyone say. Thanks

The company still exists, the current share price doesn't mean that Blackberry is unable to become a large company again.
I would buy a Blackberry before I'd buy an iphone.
I'd buy a Blackberry with a full keypad from 10yrs ago, before I'd buy a brand new iphone.

Mac does more sales on their iphone than all of Microsoft, I believe, but the digital world would be crippled if it weren't for Windows.
So, someone needs to calibrate their understanding of how to quantify value.

Gary Vee is a hustler, and a shyster.
He's not an innovator.

He inherited his family's multi-million dollar wine business, and grew it from there.
He didn't start with nothing, and build a legitimate business.

He had a proven model to start with, and all he had to do was expand it, without doing anything too stupid.
It's my understanding that he entered that business at age 14, and then after college he started doing it full-time.

So, that means he was in the business for several years, and then when he started doing it full-time, it took him five years to grow the business from $3mil to $60mil.
He is now 44yrs old, and his net worth is supposedly $150mil.

So, it took him 10yrs of experience to initially grow his family's wine business.
Now, 20yrs later, he's only worth twice as much?

Obviously, he's rich, and famous, and I have no doubt that he's competent enough to be so, but it took him many years to get there, and he obviously had a lot of help to do so.
Therefore, I think it's silly how he's glorified, when you actually look at the facts.

If I started with a multi-million dollar business, I'd have big gains, too.
I've only been in Internet Marketing since 2015.

I started with $700, and now I make a small salary. LoL
In another 5yrs, I'll definitely be compounding my current gains.

Doesn't make me a prodigy. xD
Just makes me a regular dude who put in some time, and built something decent.

Maybe I'm ignorant of some of the facts of his backstory, but the core numbers don't lie.
If he actually started with nothing, he'd probably be some Joe reading BHW posts, right now. :D

Can you please share the link or source to reach him? Thanks in advance :)

You don't have to be a genius to predict that blackberry was a shitty phone. CEO of Linkedin, Mastercard, and especially Rock is nobody to me. That's all a matter of choice: some like Karl Marx, others like Gary, etc.

If I listen to someone it's not because of the guests they can interview, but because of who they are and where they are. If I want to be there I will probably listen to that advice, while I like Gary's wealth I don't like the way I see him. The reason why I like Jordan is that psychology and his advice can be applied anywhere and to anyone, no matter what your personality, race, or geographical position.
