[PROVEN METHOD] Passive Income through POD Websites

Is it good option if I am doing this from india. Found Amazon merch not accepting bank details from india. Don't know about others..but what payment options I have if I am from India..#'%##

The method is very old and noob friendly. I am posting now to prove that this method still works.

Let me post this method in Q&A format.

1. What is this method about?
A. Finding a POD website and upload designs on those websites. Once they make a sale... You earn a commission every sale.

2. What is the process involved uploading designs.
A. You should upload a design and select a product from list of products they can fulfill. Once the design is uploaded...They will create a mockup and list it on their website.

3. What are the best websites to start with?
A. Here are the list of websites you can upload:
a) https://merch.amazon.com/
b) https://www.redbubble.com/
c) https://www.zazzle.com/
d) https://www.cafepress.com/
e) https://www.spreadshirt.com/
f) https://teespring.com/
g) https://www.sunfrog.com/
h) https://www.teepublic.com/
i) https://www.designbyhumans.com/
j) https://fineartamerica.com/
k) https://society6.com/
l) https://teefury.com/
m) https://www.threadless.com/

4. Do I need to be a designer to make money on those websites?
A. It's like asking "Do I need to be a Model?" to make money on OnlyFans or Adult websites. If you are a designer, You can make money without incurring any expenses. Others have to hire a designer... Better to learn photoshop for making small edits on Original design.

5. Where to start?
A. Find a funny quotes, do some research on Teespring, Amazon and search youtube like this "https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+research+t-shirt+design+ideas+". Hire a designer and get your design. Start uploading and repeat.

6. How to scale this shit?
A. Let's say you are getting sales for this design: "Of course I am Awesome, I am a Teacher". Get the PSD from the designer and edit yourself to save money or ask him for a bulk price. scale it with different professions, names etc. Sky is the limit.

7. Best advice you can give us?
A. Don't really abuse the platform. Don't upload cheap quality designs. They will suspend your account and all your hard-work would go in vain.

8. How to get the traffic?
A. Frankly speaking, We have done nothing in the beginning. But we use to stuff good keywords/tags while uploading the design. Later stage, we have tried Pinterest, Wanelo to pin the URLS. That boosted our sales for sure. I am noob in SEO... Use your own SEO skills to get the traffic.

9. Do you have any proofs that method is still working?

These are just few accounts of us.

10. Can we automate this?
A. There are tools but I never used. You can build imacros to automate uploading. But I don't suggest... Just get a VA if you are busy.

11. I am a creative and hardcore designer... Do I have any place to sell my designs & make more money?
A. Yes. Here you go:
1. https://www.creativefabrica.com/
2. https://creativemarket.com/
3. https://www.etsy.com/

12. So what now?
A. If you are still searching for methods. Stop here and start working.

Its not easy to get accepted by Amazon merch. How did you get accepted?

Great post!!

I use this method since 4 years ago, i only have 30 designs that i made years ago. I uploaded to 2 websites (i was lazy), and i earn between $40 and $200 every month, its only beer money, but it's passive income since several years. Some month i uploaded on contests websites like Qwertee or whatever, and i earnt $600 more that month, but that wasnt passive, cause i had to upload it again LOL

0 SEO
0 PINs
100% Organic traffic with the titles and keywords, and good designs

i use that money for buy sushi...

When i can, i will try to create a bot (i created several for instagram the last months thanks to BAS), and i will make more designs.

In my old office job I meet a person that quit the job, cause he started to create designs for POD websites, and contest websites, similar to this method, and he have success and paid his fucking house, but it was about 2013, and i was better time for this method. It's a good method anyway.

I don't understand the need of uploading in bulk. Does it have something to do with the algorithm? Like a "just uploaded" fresh tab for buyers?

I get that you'll need 400 designs to get £800-1200 a month

But wouldn't it be better to upload it slowly? If you're designing by yourself or hiring on a budget you won't be able to put like more than 2 a day anyway!

Can you explain this to me?

I mean on the second Redbubble account you've made 200/Month with 200 designs and around 200 sales? That's like 1 design, 1 sale. Why would you risk it?

Hi. I sell my designs on Etsy and Design Bundles and I'm planning to start selling on Redbubble. I've tried to hire some designers on Fiverr and Freelancer but there are many "designers" who just steel other designs and try to sell you like original work. How you check if the designs original when you buying?

I started redbubble few weeks ago. I have cca. 30 designs and no sales so far.

I'm not sure what the rules are against posting links to your own blog here (These are my first posts after years of lurking) but I run a blog where I talk about POD and everything I have done to go from 0 to 1000/month.

Please can you PM me the link to your blog?

Hi @podninja

Thanks for the informative post.

As a newbie, may I ask a few questions?

1. What platform should I begin first(Redbubble, Zazzle or Teespring etc..)?

2. What mistakes does newbie make?

3. You said you created many accounts in each platform, why is that?

4. Are there evergreen niches in POD? If so, what are they?

How do I go about joining Merch by Amazon without a US Bank account?

Hardest part about merch is you are limited to 10 uploads. Then you just sit back and hope and pray you get sales. Theres nothin you can really do.

Redbubble ive heard of people uploading literally thousands of designs and make a few hundred bucks

Merch is probably better but gotta get past the 10 designs phase. And to earn a decent income im sure u gotta have thousands of designs

Also people are figuring out you can do this which creates more competition

I really believe/think the people that make the most or good money online are just gonna keep it to themselves

Even in like dropshipping. You have the top percentage of people that know the tricks and know the ins and outs of literally everything
