I was about to sleep as it was 3am but I was hooked with your thread because during the past few days, I have been finding ways to make money through TY and I know this was one of them. 1) I was seriously thinking to start from scratch for 4000 hrs, 1000 sub etc (before I read your thread or knew your existence) and given you said you highly recommend to buy TY monetised sites to get it started, which I would love to but I am concerned about if i will get the actual YT account. I know you mentioned like when you should change the name, google sense, password etc but I am afraid if I make the payment, the bloke won't send it to me. Because as you know, Paypal does not cover digital product and not like ebay where you buy something and you can track it plus this is not legal anyways. You have any good recommendation where I can buy or you can possibly PM me please?

2) Another hurdle and concern I have in mind which you have also answered is if I do delegate the task to others like video editing, thumbnail, sound narrative etc, does that means I have to give my pw to them right if they were to manage my account? If so, what I am concerned is if they ever kinda 'stole' it by changing the pw and the adsense account details one day, then I am doomed? You know, like your experience where the partner didn't give you your share (which I feel sorry but however, I would see it as a positive way because it makes you more stronger and confident that you know you can do it in your own terms, right?)

3) As for your 80/20 split. So I assume the majority will be the one who actually recieves the WHOLE payment i.e if Aug revenue is 10,000, then obviously you would get the cheque from Google/Youtube, and then you would have to pay 2000 to your partner, correct?

4) l know you stated in the video, do a giveaway somewhere in the beginning but do you really do that? Because I have seen them sometimes but my first thought was skeptical as you normally get the ads from FB, websites like "win ipad, fill in survey" and its like "not again" or annoying. Or you just say these just to lure them to watch the full video?

5) If unfortunately, if we do get 1 or 2 strikes from YT, how do we deal with it? I mean have you had it before? And if so, any advise especially during the last chance? And do they have a period where they will reset it back to 0 if you haven't broken the rules for say within 1 year or?

5) I know the majority of your income you stated in from YT adsense. However, do you recommend to put affilate links on your description as well? For example, for top the warren buffet, jack ma business videos, put maybe stock courses from clickbank and if the video gaming, then obviously gaming niches links etc. or even your own course wouldn't that be even better since it is also counted as autopilot and that you are not spamming in the video like "Hey, if ur interested from Warren Buffet, buy the course in the description" plus I see alot of Youtubers do that too to leverage it, unless there is a good reason u dun do that.

Well my journey officially starts also today as I will take action and I am prepared for alot of failures and not give up UNTIL it succeeds. I know how it feels because its not just like that in business but generally in life too, never give up. I remember a quote very clearly something like what a 'champion' means. I am sorry to hear your father's loss and I am sure he is watching you and blessing you all the way. Although I am Asian and do not speak Philippines, there is only 1 song that I used to listen when I was little often as it was super popular back in the 80s called Anak sung by Freddie Aguilar. I think its about raising parents raising a child and some happy/sad memories, I forgot but its a nice song, you may or may not have heard it before

But again, being honest, sometimes I do post my earnings just to say “yeah, look at me, im killing it, and if I can do it, you most certainly can do it too.” but haha, super glad youre finding this thread helpful though! Ive always been a lurker on BHW and thought it would be so cool to inspire people 100%.





As for your questions though my friend:





  1. So i know a lot of people in this space with me and I’ve talked to a bunch of them. I’ve only known one guy who’s started completely from scratch so it’s definitely possible. As for referrals for monetized channels I can direct you to my supplier who in no way is in affiliation with me other than being my close childhood friend. Reach out to me bud!
  2. So delegation: the tasks I delegate are script writing, VO, thumbnail, video editing- all these contractors of mine place their files into the respective google drive folder. I then upload the videos myself. I don’t have any managers or uploaderss other than myself and my partner. I basically took the leap with my current partner who has 100% been faithful ever since. It’s a risk man; it’s always gonna be a risk!
  3. Surprisingly, my partner receives the whole payment and sends me my share LOL. He’s a really honest guy.
  4. So the giveaways I post (which I have stopped doing) were actually not real. it was just to increase secondary metrics (but i guess you can see that’s a little blackhat?)
  5. I would not. YouTube is a crawler and so I try to keep people on YouTube if im running this viral video channel model. YouTube likes when people stay on YouTube. I’ve tried putting blog links in my description before and it would just kill my video regarding performance. YouTube can tell when you’re linking externally which is why affiliate marketing/ selling digital products works better for a personal/ brand channel where there’s a face/ trust factor to them. They dont need 100k views unlike how I do to sell their products.

6. So the project manager is the communicator between the scriptwriter/ voiceover/ video editor. He doesn't have access to my YT channels either. He's only there to help communicate between people so me him and a scriptwriter will be in a chat room, and then me him and a voiceover artist will be in another chatroom, etc.

I never gave my account to anyone so no worries!

I would keep yourself in south Africa and just post videos. I know someone in the Phillippines who is doing well so I don't think country matters but I could be wrong.

I pay around $20-$100 depending on the channel per community board post. I have a 100k sub channel who resonates so well with my content compared to a 2M+ sub channel so it's all about testing engagement.

Hey incredible story man! I read all 24 pages of it. I have a quick question - I have monetized my channel via blackhat methods and have been uploading consistently for a month but haven't seen a lot of traction. Would you mind looking into it and giving me some tips? Thank you again.

On my sports channel im making about $50 a day; havent gotten any copyright claims. The key is to use just short clips while adding a lot of commentary.

Hey i been reading into your thread and I feel very intrigued by it, I am just wondering say if I did a similar niche but in a different language with that country which has a high CPM do you think the earnings will be higher?

If possible can you PM me your personal channel i would love to have a look at it and will keep an eye on your JV partnership in the future too.

But yes, i have my video editors use 13 seconds or less of a clip and I add voiceover. I also make sure to have them NEVER use copyrighted audio since that gets picked up instantly.

So I like to think of youtube as a 7 stage process:
1) research
2) script
3) voiceover
4) video edit
5) Thumbnail
6) SEO
7) upload

At some point, I WAS doing all 7 of these myself.

Now I only do 2-3/7 of these which is the research, thumbnail, and uploading.

I made sure to know EXACTLY what i was doing before hiring someone out for the task.

hi wengthemeng, I PM you on January 2020, and you reply me 18 days later, and when I reply you 3 days later. You never reply me back. It's sad that we can't do a JV while I think we're in the same page. Anyway, I'm glad for your journey, since then I continue working on my dream, build my system and team too (but never update in my thread anymore), not like you, I'm working in animation, I'm lucky enough that I can create high quality content while maintaining the cost too. I'm on my journey to $200k/mo, bit greedy, but animation is such a great niche (especially clickbaiting story animation like Actually Happened)

try Fiverr, I got two worker from Fiverr. they put normal price in their gigs, but if you contact them and ask, sometimes some seller will accept it, as long as you buy in bulk. In my case, I buy 30 voiceover at once. so it's $150/30 voice over @1000 words. in weng case, I think it's his friend.
