YT kills channels(its TRUE!!), example of a dead/shadowbanned channel for you people who think it does not happen.

I even think YT is purposely not showing views, for all we know your video could really have 10m views showing the advertisement that it's 10m yet showing you 1m views thus only needing to pay you for the 1m views. YT is getting more and more corrupt but there just isn't any other platform like it.

glad you agree with this. some people just like to believe this is not true coz it makes them feel better and they wouldn't lose hope for their yt career.
but this is the sad truth.

luckily for me i dont put all my eggs in one basket.
have multiple channels going on.

so after observing the effect on multiple channels i think this is true.

also u r right about views delivery u r probably getting more views but they deliver/report less views on yt studio

Lol I remember one time arguing with you in a thread about this subject and you were saying YT doesn't shadowban accounts :P

its not a shadowban, as I dont think is manual, is yt algo deciding out of nowehere to stop recommending channels

That's exactly what a shadowban is. I've got a lot of high subs accounts laying around because they are useless for rank or suggested traffic. But at some point they were good

Ok, thanks. so yours got recovered?
I believe hq channels dont get shadowbanned - just avg qaulity ones. That being said I think that if you are consistent sooner or later views will come back or maybe some videos will go viral. But I dont have the experience to see if it actually happens

Yup its true. I got a 150k+ channel that get 1k views only now.... use to get almost even 100k to my highest video being 1.5Mill views....
so unfortunate. I did chnage my niche so i dunno if that has something to do with it. Butttt basically if i dont upload for a few months the views dropped upto even 50% and it would keep happening if i didnt uploada often. Till now, Im at 1k views daily with 150k+ subs. Im not sure if i should create a new channel and tell the people that watch to sub to the new channel. Would that get me on the algorithm better if a new channel has engagement right off the bat with like 100 to 200 views?

I've seen, heard many peoples channels die like this.

I've experienced my own ones get struck too.

that's why use multiple channels. yt is fucked up and unreliable.

2014 era used to be the time where subs mattered and ur video would get out into their sub boxes.

now? it's fucked up lol

yes u heard that right i work with a group, we have dealt with atleast 250 channels testing and trying different stuff.

If you had to go through 250 channels to figure out YouTube then you must be terrible at testing or bad at understanding how computer algorithms work.

I don't buy it. Maybe a glitch, but why would youtube do this intentionally? If you're making money they're taking their cut on it.

because different channels have different luck and work differently in algo then others.

more channels + more testing = more data to work with and more observations + more experience.

a person running multiple youtube channels, experiencing different results and trying to game the system can understand yt better than a guy running a single channel.

I figured out yt enough already while running one channel.
but running and managing more channels helped me understand even better,as i experienced more issues like demonetizations , different results etc

What's the point of asking for our opinion when the consensus on the thread is that the views and likes are botted, the content niche has been changed and the thumbnails are very different from the old videos if you are going to attack people. Doesn't make sense lol.

And, if you are such a YT expert, then you should figure it out yourself.

you have some problems with reading lol. i already explained that the channel was sold because it is dead, and content was changed by the new owner.

i also explained I've had my own channels that are non botted that died a similar death.

and i also explained that I've had an organic channel non botted in the same niche that get very high views but low engagement.
similar to hot Indian videos that get real high non botted views but low engagement.

there are certain content and niche That get high views but low engagement. that does not prove botting

if have problems with reading and cry elsewhere lol.
even a few other people commented here on this thread about this same issue they faced

No one is disagreeing with the shadow ban but the point you have missed is that your videos are not being placed in the algo due to a change in content niche.

That's all from me.

well the channel died on its latest videos towards the end. after the owner kept trying he was getting less views for months.
the he gave up and sold it

after he sold it, new owner bought it and changed niche.

(views already died on same niche before the channel was sold.
the reason why the channel was sold is coz views crashed on the same niche at some point.
check oldest to newest videos)

Yes yt is unreliable and not a good place for a stable income.
There is a guy on bhw who is making a lot with various people who produce videos (voice over, edit, and so on).
I think if you wanna use YouTube to make money, you need to have entrepreunerish approach using your knowledge but paying others for production. It can acually be super profitable if you know what you are doing and have money and time to invest. But imo your own time is not worth it on YT as a job (managing whole channel), unless you do it full time. Sad thing YouTube has become!

If you check out his most popular videos, there's only 150 comments on them. I think they're fake numbers (9views and subs)

This is in my thoughts on the YT algorithm. I have run multiple kids channels and at a few points, my views went from 100k/day down to like 5-10k. Then wait a few months and I got put back into suggestion and it can have 250k/Day. I even tried this. I uploaded a video to my "old channel" got 5k views in 3 days and then died... Took it down edited it a bit and uploaded to a new channel. That video got 1m views the first 20 days :p Youtube has a limited amount of views and a lot of content can be similarly entertaining to the same audience so my guess is your channel gets switched out and someone else's pops. Then in a while, you get back in and someone else gets his/her channel views hammered.
I have now run 3 channels in the same niche for about a year and 2 are competing directly. If I upload a video with similar content on the other channel with targeting keywords, my suggested views for the other will go down while the others go up. Seen it a hundred times. BUT a note here is that this has enabled me to hedge against this. I have seen 1 time where views on both my channels go down at the same time and that was for a short period. Calculated I get about 1.5 times the amount of views I got with 1 channel now with 2 because of the fact that one is always performing. Sometimes they both go on a spree at the same time and I can get around 300-500k/day, not like that gives you any money these days. I´ve pretty much stopped with YT for now and focusing on my sites instead until I have recreated all the channels content on other languages and I can hire someone to animate them for me because the kids niche is like avg 0.15usd per 1k views which is horrible :p Not worth spending 30hrs on a single 8-minute video. In my niche thumbnail is king and I have to get around 25% clickthrough to have a video go. But mine does never fall out either, I have my first videos on both channels still accumulating millions of years each year so for our niche, it adds up. But I also see YT doing everything they an to move ads from creators videos to other ad placements on the site so that they don´t have to share the revenue :p That has been going on for quite some time and I see it escalating. We now have top video position as an AD in a few years the top 3-5 will be ads and they will be even more ads throughout scrolling. Its a pretty shitty platform these days and the earnings per 1k views have been dropping drastically over time. Not including COPPA in my calculations there.*
EDIT: PS I wrote this on my shitty phone so sorry for all the errors!

Does This Happen to Verified Channels too? I don't think so.
any thoughts?
