Where do you host your clients websites?

I've never hosted anyone else's website but my own, so not sure what the best practice is or what way to go about it. These website probably wont be getting a lot of traffic. Think coffee shops, restaurants and other small businesses, so I don't think a high performing server would be necessary. Perhaps shared hosting would be best?

I'd appreciate anyone who has experience with hosting other peoples websites input :)

Use cPanel/WHM on a VPS. Each client with his own username and IP address.

Hmm yeah, never even thought of that.

I use EasyWP from namecheap for hosting my wordpress sites. Could I potentially do this for my clients, just set up their own easywp hosting? I haven't had any problems with using it and namecheaps support is second to none. I am very unfamiliar with this territory so I may be thinking about this the wrong way.

Preferably as cheap as possible, I have under 5 clients at the minute but looking to scale now. I dont want to go too cheap though that I am sacrificing performance, risk of hurting SEO or anything of that nature.

If it is just regular small / medium businesses with not that much traffic, I would use Closte.com around 5-6 dollar per site and month on Google Cloud with loads of speed.
 
I reject hosting clients website.

1. i want to sleep.
2. If site gets slow or some shit im the one to blame.
3. If the site gets hacked im the one to blame.

no money will make me host a client website.
 
I'll suggest bluehost , $3- $6 per month (depending on the plan. ) Whilst profiting from their affiliate reward as a referrer...
 
Reseller hosting, or a vps with WHM. That way you can keep all client accounts separate from each other.

if you’re worried about having some redundancy then a couple of the above with different providers.

I would suggest going with VPS (Virtual Private Server) with additional IPs + cPanel.

You mention that you are currently hosting that websites on your network, which means that you have at least basic knowledge of WAMP.

If that is the case, then you can go for several single CPU / 1GB RAM (depending on the website/traffic you can go with 512MB) VPS.
You can also consider installing Webuzo Panel (Awesome and the best single user alternative to cPanel/DirectAdmin) on each VPS premium version is 1.5$/mo.

ovh, vultr, digitalocean (just to name a few).

Plenty of options :)
