he get $66,593.06 from that stream about elon musk

I've heard that they do this themselves to get people to fall for the trap, what do you think?

Like the scammer will send payments to himself for it to appear like people are doing it.
not in those case, they do point to their own website where you can see a JavaScript code that simulate FAKE "real-time deposits" to the "wallet" and "airdrop" of BTC that allegedly sent back to the depositor...
but on the wallet, those are only income transactions from real people that fall for this.. they made millions for $ already, since this is livestream they get an incredible boost, when YouTube act it's too late
this is a single livestream that made them over $70,000 (cost of the livestream traffic is ~$300)

This is a scam and not the last time we’re seeing it, google does nothing to tackle them
they can't as it happens too fast, the YouTube manual take down process can take a few hours and it will start only if users will detect it and flag it
until then... many more YouTube visitors get exposed to the livestream and some will fall for it... since they don't know yet that there are no free gifts!

What about automatically block the words like bitcoin giveaway because no big or small corporations does it

the people behind it are smart they don't use stop words on the title/description it will look like a legit video, they will promote the 'giveaway' on the livestream template and on their own domain (they don't use active link to it)

YT removed it.
it will always get removed, but still, they manage to generate many transactions in the mean time, also they usually add more than one livestream at a time from several channels
here is a new one that currently running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LexCEE8kreo

Social media has more of a responsibility to manage crypto scams. They've got the most powerful AI in the world and more resources than some small countries.

Why do you say that the cost of the traffic is only 300 dollars?

According to some posts I read about livestream views, the ones you recommend now are the RAVs, but those views soon disappear, and this type of videos has more than 40k concurrent views, which is what also makes the video more recommended.

well this just my raw estimation, it can be $500 or even $1000, i don't want to encourage such promotion, but i saw that when someone start a livestream that is running on a high authority channel, if he get 50K or 100K RAV livestream views those has a "snow ball" effect since YouTube start to suggest it like crazy...

but since the lifespan of such livestream is very very short, i don't think that the promoter limit himself to only real livestream views, so defiantly some botted views involved here as well

Been seeing these also for Bill Gates and Kevin O'Leary. Very similar to what goes on on Twitch with the "CSGO Giveaways"

how these guys get YTB account with so many followers? also the concurrent live view is super !!!

I was about to say that people don't fail for this trap anymore because after 5 hours stream it collected peanus but someone just sent 1,4 BTC there :(

they hack those accounts, with a few easy steps (i saw the full complains of some poor victims that lost those channels), they are what you can call "con artists" of the blockchain currencies.
all they need to do is to outsmart 3 groups of stupid people:

1. stupid channel owners that fall to the scam and lose their channels
2. stupid people that think somebody will just double their money
3. stupid work-from-home YouTube moderators that fails to understand what is going on...

@Cyberars which tool is that?
no tools, they buy livestream traffic from smm panels as far as i know. anyway the above video got deleted by youtube for "This video has been removed for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines."
this is 7 hours!!! after it started, so basically they can do it every day, all the day and make millions since stupidity is infinite...
