Sure bud. Just busy with projects these days. I'll share everything that worked for me once I accomplish the goal.Few tips would help, once you figure it out.
Thanks bud.best of luck brother
Hope so. It's been 6 months already, and I've only managed to reach 20% of the goal. Need to find new ways to get projects.Bhai it's seems like your on right path.
Good luck!
Maybe the client want something like an analysis, what did the competior post, what keywords he target, what backlinks and such. This is really amazing. So, how you're going to spy them and what type of reports you'll provide to the client?
Bro don't worry just do the work that justified your worth the leave rest to the God.Hope so. It's been 6 months already, and I've only managed to reach 20% of the goal. Need to find new ways to get projects.
They deposit in Escrow. I make sure all conditions are agreed upon prior to setting the contract so there are no surprises later on for both sides.BTW, @stepdub are you taking any advance from the clients for the projects? I know earlier there was an option to take up t0 50% advance if project gets approved when Upwork was odesk.
Had a very bad experience with a 2D animator JV. I bid and got him a project for $700 and as soon as he got it he messaged me how it's unfair of me to ask for a cut in the earnings cuz I'm only doing the bidding and he's doing all the work and all that.
If you're willing to play the long term game with long term people then I can JV.
What do you do?Okay I understand and I am ready to play the long term game.
How do we start ?
Earning Update: 14th June 2020
I can't believe this.
Mission Accomplished. $535,000 from commissions for a B2B deal, which was an extension of a lead generation project from May. This was for a product that is in super high demand during the ongoing covid-19 matter. While luck and timing has played a major role in reaching / exceeding this target, a little bit of hard work was involved too. I'm grateful to have been in the right place at the right time.
Total: $566,064
An extra : $416,064 over the $150,000 target.

Thanks bro.Congrats bro
This journey make me toomuch motivated
Thank you. That's an amazing man! What type of commission? The employer is ready to provide you commission based on the lead generated by you? If yes, how you're tracking that he made a business deal through your lead?
Thank you.
No, the commission is not merely for the leads - if that was the case, I'd have made millions years ago just by passing leads on haha. After I delivered the project, I asked the client what he's going to do with the leads - contact them himself or work with his in house sales team, or outsource the outreach part. He said he is looking for sales guys who will work with those leads. I suggested that I'll handle the outreach myself and won't charge for the time, but only for deals I close. I managed the entire prospecting, negotiating and closing part myself. I have experience in old fashioned B2B deal making, as this is what I was doing before getting into IM or freelancing.
Congrats man. Maybe, you can request mods/admins to change your title to "$150,000 x 4 by Dec 2020. Crushing it on Upwork"
So, now I have some serious questions, which you may or may not answer.
1. Was your pitch or the client's proposals to extent it?
2. It was just lead gen or other work was involved too? Like promotion, etc.
Yeah bro. Just one deal.So you closed a big deal for your client and had such a big commission ?
That's pretty crazy but also very happy for you that you managed to do that in such short time. Maybe it something you should have approached in the beginning, finding B2B companies and offering your skills in the spoken sales department.
