No, they will not ask for proof of identity.
With the new update, youtube has made it mandatory to verify by phone number when logging in to channels that have not been logged in for a long time.

America belongs to Britain, France and Italy. Uploaded videos in accounts are also complicated. game videos, music videos, comedy videos, and entertainment videos are loaded. monetization of accounts is not enabled. monetization enabled accounts start at $ 700.
