Disgusting!!!

Maybe you're right bro - we're all fucked....

San Francisco declares state of emergency over coronavirus

They are declaring it now because it will be easier to deal with and slow the spread of when SF starts having some cases.

"The new state of emergency will allow city officials to assemble resources and personnel to expedite emergency planning measures and boost the ability to deploy a rapid response to a potential coronavirus case in the city."

There's big hysteria provoked by journalists
Ok, we have new virus, it's dangerous
What about old viruses, like flu?
It causes thousands of deaths every year, but there's no such panic

I’ve always had great respect for you OP and still do, but I think you’ve lost your marbles on this one. Then to make matters worse anyone that disagrees with you is either a previously banned member or “weird account with no reputation”.. which is a cop out of actually answering their responses to you in my eyes, that’s not how I thought you rolled man, I’m surprised and a little worried at the behaviour you’re displaying here to be honest.

Cannot be bothered to get into any tit for tat or debates here so this will be my last post on it, I just had to say something as it’s shocked me to see this kind of hysteria from you and then blasting other people’s opinions (the ones that don’t agree with you) as irrelevant and accusing them of being sketchy or a previously banned member just because you don’t like their responses.

This whole thread stinks tbh.. it stinks of misinformation, hysteria, unfounded accusations against other members (some of them jr vips that contribute to this forums upkeep), trolling and fuck knows what else, basically it’s a cluster fuck of a thread that I’d have locked long ago if I was still a staff member here.

Hey t0mmy I've great respect for you too. Needless to say how much you've contributed here since forever.

I regret that it came across as hysteria. I'm actually quite calm about it. I've bought supplies, warned my family, told friends.

I did my part in warning that this is no ordinary flu and it's serious.

If it came across as hysterical or whatever, then it was my fault bc of how I expressed myself.

There was an infamous case here a while ago about one jrvip who suddenly attacked me in every thread. He/she went away but now I got some similar behavior from someone else.

Well I did my part trying to warn about the virus.

Now it's a confirmed pandemic, I hope everyone stays safe.

Sigh.. "Flu" has been around for years its taken that long to adapt and we are able to manage it (unless you look at the NHS in the UK come flu season). This new "virus" is spreading quicker than anyone knows what to do with it and has a knock on effect when towns or people get quarantined. Comparing a new virus that we do not have an understanding that is effecting every day lives to something like the flu that has been around for generations is just daft - you can't compare them both.

I'm a healthy 27 year old male. I'm as scared of the corona virus as I am of the common flu. Bring it on.

Guys I'm travelling just now and aren't concerned about it.

You've more chance of dying from flu...

CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010

The flu is old news to the media. It doesn't generate clicks anymore. They need a new, shiny, life-threatening disease that has even savvy-marketers going crazy and clicking on their websites.

Whatever happened to Ebola anyway? Maybe the clicks dried up aha

This actually looks nasty, first I was joking around but now I am worried about this.

anybody with eadly family or friends should be carefull it no joke but it just like flu not nice anyway.
