Want to adopt a pet am having mixed feeling between a dog and a cat! Which one is more recommended what do you guys think I heard cats can hold a grudge and are messy my grandmas cat will literally cat walk pass a rat if he didnt get feed on time!

Your thread is misleading. First thing that comes into anyone's mind when you see the word "Adopting" is a BABY.
 
Dog i think it is best , i like the small ones and energetic , speed dogs but and a haski for guardian
 
I am a dog person, so.. dog it is. Btw, if you can adopt a street dog/from adoption center... It's even better. Breed dogs are good, but they're normally not the ones in need.
 
I wanted to write a long post since I have 2 dogs and 2 cats..

But go with cat, if your free time is limited, or go with dog if you have enough free time to can spend with the dog 1-2 hours per day.

But op, keep in mind that furry dogs come with lots of side effects lol. Your pizza might taste a bit furry next time. Nevertheless, furry ones are the cutest ones. :D
 
I say a cat as it depends on your lifestyle and how active you are. You can't go wrong either way with a dog or cat.
