These Updates Are Almost All The Time The Same ... Google Wants Quality Not BS PBN Spun Posts..
Yall only scared cause you spin the sh*t out of every article. Long HQ articles rank (thats the big secret) and it doesnt need 10,000 backlinks ... 5 powerful guestposts can already do the trick if the article is great and your domain is HQ & was expired.

It's funny how all those tools show very different results.... all of them have spikes but the dates are different.
So unless I'm wrong and don't know how to use 'search volatility', those tools are of no use.
Not entirely true, Google wants people to click on ads thus make money.
They do those updates only to crush spammers and gamers to prevent them from making easy money from google.
Who would use google if it had a lot of spam or gibberish content in their search results?

not much movement, so all is good. Also not much buzz on twitter.
When latest Google updates I had only about 300 keywords and maybe about 50 pieces of content.In just 20 days my base increased to 4k and is increasing as mad I ranked for few keywords on spot 1 so I started to get also organic traffic about 500 so far.Yea latest update s are really crazy.BTW my niche is publishing industry.

Can anyone in this thread give one example of a website that has all the following "attributes":
- Super user friendly and well researched content.
- No active spammy linkbuilding profile.
- Normal or good sitespeed.
- Been dramatically hit by a Google update and lost its rankings.

Of course, it doesn't make me immune. But, I'm more focused on the BIGGER picture and building a BRAND. I'm not looking for short-term gains, but building up an active reader base and other traffic sources. So, even if I lose half of my organic traffic due to some update, I'd still have a business. This goes for any business, national or local. Diversity is always key.
I'll enjoy the ride while it lasts though.
However, there are markets/niches where SEO is the most ideal place to generate traffic and sales. I have clients that if they lose a few revenue keywords, their business sinks. This is usually in the manufacturing/supply niches from my personal experience (or any high-ticket product)
But, I've dealt with fashion brands who tested an SEO agency for 3-months but went back to Facebook and Instagram and could care less about any SEO algorithm update. But, they were still generating a few sales from Google but social always outperformed.
So, it is ALL relative to what type of business you are in.
Not everyone cares about what Google does.

I agree - What you are saying is becoming more and more evident .....
one question: have you noticed much change in google algorithm on your side when it comes to % exact match ratio for your primary keyword between now and last year? for example, top sites in your niche, have a higher % of exact match keyword vs. lower tier ones?

Blame BERT
All the bad results are being blamed on BERT by people who know nothing about BERT or SEO.
BREXIT will have as much effect on rankings as BERT.

That is impossible to say. Your screenshot doesn't tell me anything about the quality of the content, the link diversity nor the sitespeed.
