I got HACKED by using the AUTOBLOG PLUGINS here!

All you need is to make your server accept files from another server or any place...You can inject anyfile into the server then you get to the business end of things...but no one would do it on these blogs I too think so just waste of time

When my cPANEL got hacked/hijacked my google traffic from ALL SITES went to "BUY FOREX TRANNING COURSE ONLINE" ebooks. Who ever it was is making bank.

You can't easily jump from from a compromised wordpress plugin to the cpanel. Let's back up a bit, although it may possible it would be a very long winded way for the hacker and it would still involve a trojan or keylogger somewhere.

Your worst problem is making the assumption that you do not have a keylogger or trojan. Any one can have them, however knowledgeble you are about computer security.

There is a security analysis paper that came up on (probably) slashdot about 4-6 months ago. I don't have the time to look for it, but if you can find it you revise your rigid convictions about how secure your computer is.

The op has failed to supply any reasonable evidence that he was hacked by a wp plugin
from this forum. And seeing that this is a very large board it would've been inevitable
for this this to happen to numerous other members if this was to be true.
The thread is evolving into a computer security discussion and as there are areas of

LOL dude, read up on php before you talk. There are things called shells that is a simple script that can gain access to every file on your site. There are also php bots and js bots. Please don't talk when you have NO F***ING clue.

Okay install a php bot/js bot or a php shell. I will not only gain access to your cpanel but to all your email accounts. Ive done it before and im willing to do it again. you are some skid from unk that thinks he is smart as hell.

If the server's root is hacked there are 3 things we should know:
1. Your server has SHIT LIKE security! Get away from it or you will get in trouble soon or later.
2. You have to be proud that you have met 1 of the most experienced hacker
3. There are extremely powerful exploits just discovered that we didn't know about it. In this case, these hackers don't target on such ... little "auto" blogs lol. Why the hell they want to fuck these noob blogs?

just re-read this. 1k servers in 3 years??? damn thats sooo awesome. all i can do is go to milw0rm and root 2-3k servers a day using public exploits, but i bet you coded your own shit. I must suck then.

you have no clue what hackers do. About 70% of them are in it for the lolz and the rest are out there infecting BLOGS in order to send traffic to their site. but you must be a l33t one and only infect google.com and youtube.com

my site was also hacked by a plugi found here and in one of the bigger autoblog threads. my passwords were not compromised (to my knowledge). it was a forex autoblog and installed some of the translator and content grabbing plugins.

i don't believe my passwords or ftp were compromised, nor any of my other accounts on my shared hosting compromised. the index.html file was just replaced and other files deleted. so be careful guys, there are a lot of ruthless nerds out there

Set safe mode to OFF for your "convenience". The rule is changing my cp passwords as I said in my previous posts. If you can do this then HAT OFF! You're a real legend that I have nothing to say.
