Another Google Update on It's way

Lost 20+ ranking pages on a site where I never built links :l The Rd is literally 15 for that site.

Was ranking due to relevancy and interlinking. Weird serps today.

Lets wait for the dust to settle down.

This was March Update :D .. you are too late to the party ^_^

Build whitehat and gain the $$$. I still haven't heard a good point for still going blackhat (atleast if you still wanna be secured for the next 2-3 years). Come at me.

So, you are ranking without buying or building any backlinks to your website?

I did a pure blackhat for the last 8 years, plenty of sites survived as well and yes it has a good point if you know what you're doing. Did I gain $$$? Yes I did. A lot.

Wondering the same as @KHer0 how you rank your keywords without link building at all.

Google SERPs have become a massive shitshow and this started with the August 2018 update. Nothing makes sense now. They are just doing a refresh after refresh only to reverse it a few days later.

No change on my end (Google.de). Serps are still full of shit and without any sense.

Weird thing is that this site was unaffected during the March update :l

When you are good at SEO you have nothing to worry about..

my main site is losing traffic since yesterday. I hope, this shit will be reversed.

Well finally some Google update which didn’t negative affected me.

My traffic increased like 20-30% and some of my sites moved front in SERPs.

Looks like I’ve learned from mistakes in past years :D

I noticed some positive results so far and the traffic was increased by 15%.

On about 10 websites from 30 which I own, including a very big website, the traffic from yesterday is down 15-20% (compared to Tuesday last week).
Interestingly enough, there is practically no difference in rankings. Earnings are in tact as well.

This makes me think that the update affects long tail keywords, or image search, simply things I do not monitor, in terms of their ranking... Let's see how situation develops in a few days.

I'm not denying any of that. In fact I do have a few blackhat sites myself. But there's no guarantee that this site will last you the next 1, 2 og 3 years. It might not survive the night.

It needs time to settle. Its really to early to say whats going on. One of my website got a huge push in the rankings yesterday, but today it went back to its original position. No idea if this got something to do with the update or not. I really can't figure out any pattern, since the rankings for my keywords on Google.de are totally random and are making no sense. I hope the update will bring some sense to the serps again.

My organic traffic has dropped. I get about 5k-7k daily. But now I struggle to have 2k. Yesterday pageviews was around 3.5k.

As someone who is about to launch a new site, I would really like to know the new guidance regarding SEO after this update.
I’m one of those who don’t think that there is such thing as “white hat SEO” because all SEO are black hat as it meant to trick the SERP.

And for those who claim not to rely solely on Google for traffic, I want to know: do you use social media then or forums?
Because not everybody can spend money on ads, so what are the other sources of free traffic you use then?
