[JOURNEY] Two Amazon Affiliate sites to 100$/Day (Ongoing)

This has been a really interesting journey... I'm just starting my own, so thank you for the inspiration and congratulation on your successes!

April Update

Things are getting pretty crazy for site #1.

Earnings: 3900$~
Traffic: ~5000-5500 visitors per day from google
Articles: 314 and ~20 unpublished.

Aiming for publishing 500 articles by the end of 2019.

Site #2 is penalized for unnatural links because of a PBN network here on BHW and I will try to lift the penalty when I get time.

- Building another native website right now which I will let sit for some months to get some traction. Already getting 30-40 visitors/day to that site. Very low competition here so I have high hopes for this one in a few months.

Guys... I guess the goal of 100$/day is reached by far and now we will aim for 1000$/day

How long are your aticles? how many words ?

Normally 1000 words for information articles, but can also be up to 3000 words for more competitive keywords, but would like to say that 70% is around 1000 words.

are you using mediavine as your ad network?

Yes using Mediavine and really happy with them. Great RPM and good customer support that cares.

How old is your site 1 is? When did you purchase the domain?

This domain is around 9 months old. Had another name/domain for the website before which I had since july 2017. But didn't have a lot of articles then and the website got serious at the same time as with the domain change.

You are earning a decent amount with 9 months old website. Are you getting organic traffic from Google only? What's your keyword difficulty on average? Don't you think mediavine is decreasing your a sense revenue? Isn't adsense better?

Great results and journey!

How much do you typically pay per 1,000 words and do you use Upwork or another service?

Thanks.

Thanks! Looking forward if you can share how you create your Web 2.0s. I am looking to buy some for my amazon site from the bhw marketplace but I noticed that you said bhw services does not work out well. Care to explain that?

thank you for this journey thread OP really learned from your post... as someone who wants to start their amazon affiliate journey this is a great motivational post... thanks again

Wow bro for a domain name of less than one year it's amazing

Are you doing that as a fulltime job?

From Adsense I got like 4-5$ RPM, with mediavine I get around 15$ RPM. So much better for me and a lot of others!

Right now I'm paying 15$ for 1000 words and I'm using services here on BHW and I do have a personal writer I found on fiverr. But I searched for a long time and tested a lot of them.

For sure there are good services here on BHW but I'm not doing much of link building at all now tho. Writing good informational articles and gaining backlinks automatically by time. I do not consider specific keywords a lot. I'm checking other competitors websites and looking for their best-performing pages and writing better ones.

Reaching out to webmasters and asking for some guest posts & link exchanges between different websites if you have a few in the same niche is the best way to go.

Just need some patience and you will get ranked by time if it's not a very specific keyword you are targeting.

Not doing it full time yet. Working evenings and holidays. I'm planning to do it full-time after the summer tho :D

I've got an other question for you,
have you got some programming skills ?

Love your journey! Sending you a PM...

As far I know,Mediavine is paying for Session, not impression. Is it right?

Not a lot, know the basics to modify php css etc but absolutely not good at it :)

Amazing progress. What wordpress theme are you using?

Using X-themes & Genesis framework for my sites. Both are good depending on what kind of website you are going to build.

Yes it's session RPM. However, when I changed from Adsense to mediavine my earnings grow with 3x just with the switch overnight, and even more after some months when the RPM stabilized.

The site1 is focusing on a niche or including a lot of niches? It is a big categoy or small one? can you give an example? thanks
