Guys, I'm no expert, but aren't blockchain and coinbase just exchangers? I mean, they can be used as wallets, but ultimately they're exchangers.

Isn't something like Bitpay an actual wallet?

Use electrum or bitcoin core. If you have the private key you don't own your bitcoins. Electrum for day to day transactions. bitcoin core with password for long storage.

Electrum, because you don't need to sync everything from the beginning. Pretty much.... install , load wallet and get started

I did not sync my bitcoin core either. I just get the private key and save it somewhere. I just import the private key when I need to spend it.

just for secure use offline wallet multibit,electrum or exodus. dont ever use online wallet like web wallet, or wallet related to some website
