UPDATE February 22. (idk why but this is my favorite color on this forum)
So. My site today are 3 months old (from registering day)
I'm always going slow, but careful as this is a high target and with rushing you can get nowhere a.k.a banned site or spent money for nothing. These are the stats from Ahrefs.
I have 200 articles, 250 000 words and 100 000 more soon will be delivered.
Majestic:
Traffic are ~30 per day, not much, but I'm going straight for quite hard keywords. Earnings are ~30$ this month.
A few tips n tricks.
1. Don't rush things. Plan your site. When you add your content thing a year ahead and do it carefully so you don't have to go over 300 000 words again.
2. Don't overcomplicate. American buyers are dumb (sorry Americans). Especially for Amazon products, don't write really long buying guides for a product which a child can use. Americans like lists. That's why thespruce and bestproducts rule the world for Americans, they just need to be pointed out which thing is good. Even if it's not. So keep your articles long, but don't write a 5000-word buying guide on how to choose a heated toilet seat. Better list out 20 of those seats and write a 1000 word Questions and Answers and what to avoid. That's all.
3. Optimize your site. And not only for speed but for UX too. Disable useless popup plugins, don't use list builder shits when you have only 100 visits per day if you have a niche site. You will lose more money than gain. Don't use popups at all, people hate them.
4. Write everything down. Make an excel file where you have a table of your ordered links, ordered articles, guest posts etc. It will make your life easier if you decide to sell your site or even just to track your expenses.
I'll share my excel file at the bottom of this post. It will be empty tho but with a tables and formatting.
5. Don't redirect dead pages 301 to a homepage, do it only if you deleted a post and want the traffic to be redirected. Don't redirect tags or useless pages, let Google handle that.
6. Add internal links. Add a lot, BUT, don't abuse it. Google recently said that there is no internal link overoptimization penalty, but they never said about abuse. Differ your internal link keywords, don't link to your knife article from all articles with a keyword knife, diversity is the key. This will help Google to crawl your content and index and rank it faster.
7. Don't be afraid to host more than 1 site on your hosting. Google does not ban the whole IP set as some SEO "experts" told before. Of course, if you have a completely black hat site or porn, then it's better, but if you have niche sites, feel free to host them in the same place.
8. When you launch your site, go to Google Webmasters and increase Google crawler limit to High. Just don't forget to set it back when everything have been indexed.
That's all for now!
Keep consistent, don't lose hope and everything is going to be alright
Here are the excel file I promised.
