I was on BlueHost from 2005 to 2008. They did an upgrade of something which messed up all of my sites. 50 sites. 6 gigabytes. They had no backup and I didn't either. They couldn't restore anything. All 50 sites gone.

Was making $6k a month on ticket scalping. Lots of #1's in Google. Taylor Swift was blowing up. Was #1 with "Taylor Swift Tickets." AC/DC toured for the 1st time in awhile. Was #1. I had acdcticket.com, hannahmontanaticket.com, and taylorswiftticket.com not "tickets" just "ticket." Google couldn't figure out any difference. Had content up immediately and kept auto posting and editing and posted fan filmed concert videos from YouTube. I had so many #1s. All gone. Bastards.

I am now on A2hosting and I am loving it. They claim their Turbo package makes WordPress 20x faster. That's a laugh. But it is significantly faster. You have to wait a few for any support tickets. But their support is great.

how to post own-hosted streaming videos on wordpress from a CDN, like I store a video on a cdn and want to post on wordpress with a "play" button? If that's possible, then further, how to add in-video ads like it is on YouTube.....?

Not sure whether I understand the question but I think amazon S3 is the thing that you need. When you upload a video, it is automatically send to their server and deleted on yours with the free plugin they provide.

I don’t know if this has to do much with wordpress. There are a couple of Google maps plugins for Wordpress that offer pins and detailed information that you can integrate into world maps on your website. But first I kinda need an api key for google maps. You know if you can bypass these api keys?

They are called sitelinks and result from having good backlinks into your internal pages.

Yeah, I've got a friend who set up a site on there that I'm taking care of for him.

Been locked out for four days now, who knows how long before that. Eternal maintenance...

Been waiting two days now since calling the useless help desk, still locked down.

Good thing this isn't a paid client or I'd be out a job.

Never going near BlueHost again. Way easier to set up a VPS on Digital Ocean for $5.

Yesterday I found my website could not open the homepage normally and the domain name was redirected to an unknown site.
But I can still log in WordPress Dashboard.
Finally I destroyed my vps...
Is there a bug in wordpress or something else?

You should install a Cloudflare integration to handle these spam visits.

They are not spam visits, thats the issue. It is all Facebook traffic from a big page. I cannot handle more than 700 live visits.
Anyway, I had to cancel using it and created my own app using ExpressJS, so far so good, but I still receive Error 500.
The only time when I stopped receiving this issue is when I add Load Balancing using AWS. (Elastic Beanstalk)

I was wondering what potential pitfalls one would have to watch out for when integrating a wordpress blog into Shopify. I'm not sure if this question is clear, but I'm concerned that I could get the wordpress blog installed, and then when I make changes to my Shopify store theme it would be a massive hassle to change my wordpress blog.
