Did you ever suddenly ranked on Google?

I work on increasing my reader base through social media, forums and reddit. If that helps me rank then ok, whatever. but im not changing my style of writing for Google.

I bought the domain a few years ago, made a project, have up and do it again last few months. I get 1k per day from us and has very little content

Yeah, it's happened to me. Hard to tell if it was just google changing its algorithm and favoring your content or the results of some old links getting power, or the combination of the two.

Was just about to say this... I don't bother checking. I used to do SEO and got screwed so many times by them. I get traffic from other means. Every once and a while i see that I am ranking for a decent KW.

The best part is that since I moved on from SEO, when i do rank it makes little difference. I barely notice it.

Are you meaning you suddenly ranked on Google because your site got indexed? Yes, usually everyone gets ranked if SEO set up properly.

Reddit links can definitely help with seo

About 4 yrs old now. But I started ranking about 6 months in.
