Off-topic but as an indian how did you find racism is like in russia?

I grew up in a society with graded inequality so racism by Russians is far more less then racism by fellow Indians in the name of caste(people even murder own son ,daughter for even talking with "so called out caste people",there is a good phrase to explain India its a society build on graded inequality ,In my opinion Russians are very misunderstood people on planet there is saying in Russian "у вас нет чужих детей" means there is nothing called strangers kids ,most old women in Russia helps foreigners they treat them as own children when we get into some fight or argument in shops or in university they keep saying it remember your mother is waiting there in your country don't hurt her.when we talk about people who attack foreigners are attracted by certain ideology but they are less in number ,bigger number are good people but most don't smile at foreigners or don't make any conversation but the moment you start speaking fluent Russian then they consider you as among them ,every time they have mention "земляк" like fellow countryman

Its all relative - 1st world nations are safest, 2nd world nations tend to be a little safer than 3rd world nations. I know there are many Jai Hind Super Power 2020 fans, but face it guys, India is a 3rd world nation for the most part (sure there are developed parts, just like Africa has its developed parts, but for the most part its 3rd world - especially in the villages).

I'm currently residing in 1st world nation, its very safe, you can go out at night (1AM or 3AM no problems) - hardly ever see accidents. Though there are some neighbourhoods you would be wise to avoid after dark.

i'm also from the same country i love my country very much but i grew in 90s where we had real patriotism and love towards the nation but what they are doing now a days its very sad posting in social media that in 2020 we will become super power and building arsenal of weapons and building statues,temples and spending money on kumba mela ,killing those who oppose their ideology ,or killing those who eat beef ,
Very sad to see all these ,instead in the past in 90s we never bragged about we are super power bla bla ,we all worked very hard in terms of education or building the nation if these keep happening not in 2020(the great leader ever lived in india dr abdul kalam dreamt of making a nation where no poverty and education and health care for all) even in 3020 we will be the same

Where I am originally from, in a neighbouring town (Blackpool). I have heard that domestic violence is really high. But I'm talking female on male violence. We are talking about realistic facts based on majority.Of course individuals can be diffrent than the majority however it doesn't change the fact as example than chinese have a better education than indians in general.
Is that racist or a simple fact ?
I'm european and even claim that chinese IQ is on average higher than europeans one.It has nothing to do with racism but with measured facts.
The same like majority of chinese have a lack of justice feeling compared to europeans or americans.
And to answer your question why people are not helping which i learned myself in east europe and which is also in china is the fact that when helping you can get into deep trouble.
There are countries where its for your personal safety way better to not help in such cases.
I helped myself in an accident where everyone else moved by.
The result was that a prosecutor took me to court asking why i didn't acted like the law from 1960 which noone knows demanded it.
Friends laughed at me about being so stupid getting into trouble because of that however i'm a west european trained and belive to value life of every individual as the highest and would do it again the same way as before.This time just as unknown person without providing any data even when calling for emergency

It is not country fault. It has some issues in your city. Because the city I born and living frkm last 23 years has no this kinds of issues. People are helpful, and lots of daily struggle also.
You have to change your view point to make yourself feel safe. If you are only seeing the -ve things then you are most likely get yourself involve same situation you are seeing.

May be you are right ,we had some stupid rules 10 years back that without police complaint a doctor should not attend any emergency(like suicide ,accident etc) now supreme court has lifted the regulations for that is a positive move ,btw about the dragging the witness to place A to place B for years together i have seen in my country also thats bad ,mostly all 3rd world its they run court cases for years together.
