How to increase Youtube Playlist views?

I need some help figuring something out.

If you open a Youtube Playlist with a desktop (doesn't work on mobile) you can see the amount of views the playlist has.

For example: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=LLsXak2HMK-E968bTu_IXyjw

This playlist has 7 views.

The views are not counted as a total of all the views that the videos in the playlist have. I also tried sending views to a video using the video's Playlist URL, and even though the views on the video increased, the views on the playlist did not.

Does anyone have any idea how are those views counted? Like, what, does Youtube count how many times people have actually landed on the Playlist page?

Any ideas?

The playlist is still at 7 views. I clicked the Play All button, refreshed the page, maybe you did too, maybe someone else did too since I started this thread, and the playlist is still at 7 views.

I can't figure it out. I talked to a few people about buying Playlist views, and I got quoted prices $50/k and even $100/k. Like, haha, forget about it. I'm also not entirely convinced those people understood exactly what I wanted, no matter how hard and detailed I tried to explain it.

Anyway...

Come on guys, somebody has to have some ideas about this.

I mean, I buy $1.30/k views now, lifetime warranty, never drop. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for this, but the people that quoted me $50 and $100/k, absolutely not.

Playlist metrics
The following metrics are available to assess the performance of a playlist. You can add these through the Compare metric drop-down menu.

Views: Video views in the context of a playlist.
Watch time: Total playlist watch time of your video(s) from your audience.
Average view duration: Average time watched per video view for the selected content, date range and region.
Playlist starts (web only): The number of times viewers initiated playback of a playlist.
Average time in playlist (web only): Average time watched after a playlist start.
Views per playlist start (web only): Average number of video views after a playlist was initiated.

That's awesome man. If you can figure it out and do it at a reasonable price, you have a sale from me for around 50-100k views, split between 4 playlists.

And you can also offer it as a service to others, you know.

Another thing you may want to look into if you haven't already are Premiered videos. I recently had to give up a $300 sale because I couldn't deliver 70k Views on a Premiered video. I looked into it and I got a response from multiple panel owners that only the slow views (100-300 per day) would work, which would mean I would need about 50 years to deliver 70k views on the video, so I cancelled the order.

So there's another thing you can take a look at, and let me know if you can deliver views on Premiered videos too actually. Reasonable price, reasonable speed, you know.

Premiered videos is actually same as live streaming videos, on the actual event when it's "streamed" in live (Premiere) you can use livestream viewers for instant ranking, but those will hold ONLY when the video is on 'live stream" mode
(they will not pass to the offline version)

after it's done you can use the HR slow drip-feed views (that's the only service that can work for it) if the goal is ranking, the slow views can help since they will give up to 144 minutes of retention...

well i don't see how that counter is getting updated, or when (maybe it has a long interval... as a weekly update )
i must first find how i can increase that count by +1, before adding it to development tasks.

I was also told by someone that those views can take up to 10 days to increase, so you may be onto something with the weekly update thing.

But I sent 500 views on a video in a different playlist, using the video's playlist URL, 11 days ago, and the views increased by like 10 views so far. I can't even say if that tiny increase has anything to do with the views I delivered.

YouTube's never cared about that feature and that's not likely to change. Take the API for instance, I read a post on stackoverflow where a call (on v1) would list all the stats of a playlist (including views) but that feature's been completely removed in v3.

Honestly, I don't understand why the feature itself hasn't been removed. That playlist in the OP must've been viewed by a few other members too and it's been stuck at 7 views for several days. What's the point of a stat that doesn't update in real time?

Yeah but the feature is available. The playlist I gave in my OP is just a random one I found on the fly. The playlist I'm looking to increase views on has 2,000+ views to it.

I'll wait a few more days to see if maybe there's a delayed increase on the views on the playlist from the 500 views I sent to that video 11 days ago. If not, then fuck it, I'll give up on it. No one knows what it is, how it increases, nothing to be done :/

yes, i also think that this playlist count my be a deprecated feature, but i guess we need to wait a bit more in order to prove that, i remember that on older version of YouTube GUI you could share an embed code of a playlist, now they don't show that code anymore (you can still use the old embed code but they hid it) but on the other hand i can see playlists that rank above others, so it's a good subject to research and find out how the rank algo is working with playlists...

Youtube only count when that playlist embed in your video. Which mean, use panel to sending views to playlist is useless. this is my experience a few month ago.
