People from BHW: Do you have college degree?

A college degree can be helpful, but if you are motivated enough, you can make it without one. After all, Bill Gates quit college and he became one of the richest men in the world. If you have got the right stuff, nothing can hold you back.

Bill gates dropped out of Harvard.

Kids here make $50 one day e-whoring and drop out of high school the next.

Big difference.

In 2011, when I first joined BHW, I didn't have one. Now I have 2 degrees. Business Administration and Web Coding. And I will study Computer Engineering or CS after this year, third one is on the way LOL.

Currently in my final, studying Theatre & Film Studies. But I'm more interested in IT stuff and I'll use that as excuse to travel to Europe after my degree.

Conventional education is actually boring. None of the famous wealthy entrepreneurs became what they are because of their college or university degree.

By the way what's the difference between College and University cos in my country, University is way higher than College. For instance, Law or Theatre & Film Studies can't be studied in a College.

Yes - I even got the highest marks, but I found higher education to be a farce. Having a degree or a masters is nothing more than to stoke your own ego.

Some of the smartest people I've ever met didn't have a degree or any real formal education and were wiser from life experience.

I only studied 6 years in a forgotten school in a forgotten small village, thanks to Samsung and Android smartphone I learned everything English marketing web design if was no Samsung maybe I was still working in building for a 6$ a day now I sell some items on eBay and Shopify that cost more than 300$

Went to study for a BSc dropped out in my 3rd year had enough everything I was being taught was outdated like lingo for https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=shockwave+director&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 when the industry was focusing on ActionScript and flash and that was when it was all back in the day.

I left freelanced, started to make money. Set up a business made a million, lost a million + change.

Went back to freelancing bought a farm.

I think doing a degree for any tech related course is a waste of time it's always going to be behind the industry stick with getting your head down and making a name for your self, work soon comes your way.
