lol damn man, keep in mind I am always logged into BHW but I am not always "on" BHW. I have it minimized while I'm getting my other online work done.

;)

@ swan - sure PM me and I will tell you where to send a sample. Like I've said, things like broken English, grammar and punctuation are usually the main culprits for rejections. I will try to get it clarified for you.

Done that... waiting for your response now :)

Thanks for the clarification, I was wondering the same thing as Milly.

Great saying btw!

@ everyone - I wanted to share this with you guys. I had submitted an article that really had two main keywords in it. I didn't bother checking the keywords in Google's Keyword tool like we talked about 7-10 pages back and it ended up getting rejected. I ran each keyword through the tool and noticed that one of the two main keywords had way more searches per month than the one I had targeted with my keyword density. Instead of changing title and reworking it a little before resubmitting, I just swapped all of the instances of the keywords and resubmitted it. It was accepted for $5.89 lol. From rejected, to almost six bucks.

We all know how flaky the reviewers can be, but again, taking the time to target high searched keywords with GAT (Google Adwords tool) pays off as long as they aren't done to death at AC. Wrap those keywords around an eye catching title and you'll be in better shape.

Regards

I do use the GAT... but I have to work on getting the titles right. That's causing me a lot of problems...

@redtide thanks a lot for your support. It made me realize and look into all my weak areas. I hope that I'll be a lot better in AC than what I was before... :)

Got small doubt. Does 400 word count limit also applies to new section??

thanks in advance.:)

@ Swan - You're very welcome! I'm glad the consulation helped. Like I said, you aren't far off at all but the things we talked about are some of the most important things for keeping your rejection rates low.

I would do some testing by fixing the two main things we talked about and resubmitting another batch. If you still have rejection issues then there's a chance that because of the past rejections they have flagged the account/accounts and won't accept the articles for upfronts in the future because of it.

One thing we've touched on in the past and probably would be a good thing to talk about again, is that if an account has too many rejections in the eyes of the AC reviewers, they can flag the accounts for all future submissions. (no matter how many changes and improvements you've made to the later articles.) I talked about this alot in my book. This is another reason to just consider your accounts "disposable" especially when you're just getting started with AC.

For any of you that are getting a string of rejections coming in, try starting up and submitting to a new account. It could make a big difference in your acceptance rates.

I'll use one person as an example who I've been coaching with. He had some rejections right from the start as he was learning the ropes with AC, I consulted with him and we got his articles more fine tuned to meet AC''s standards. Afterwards he was still getting rejected, so I suggested that his account was flagged due to those first rejections. We had him start a new account and suddenly he was getting $3.75-$4.25 for the exact same quality of articles that had been getting rejected.

@ BH_Manic - Yes mate, It's the same with the news category.

Redtide

Hi redtide,

I have 100+ unique 1200 word quality articles but they aren't SEO'd.
Will AC reject them or offer me a lower upfront payments because i didn't
targeted a keyword?

Yeah mate they probably will. Keywords are one of the most important things to AC. If the articles are high quality and it's worth it to you, maybe consider either doing it yourself or outsource someone to just add keywords to the articles before giving them to AC. With this said, you can still submit a few to AC and see if they still give you offers on them without KW's. AC reviewers are so unpredictable you just never know.

Good luck

Just a heads up to any of you that are new at making some extra $$ with AC.. Don't forget to check the "calls for content" for any of the offers from AC's partner sites. I claimed 2 of them this morning. They wanted 400 word articles on the Swine Flu and both were accepted by AC and reuters.c0m for $30. It took me about 45 mins. each to write (didn't need to research em, I just had the news on as I wrote em) SO that was a cool 30 bucks for 1 1/2
hrs work.

Really? All I see whenever I go there is a call for writing about recipes.

Anyway, it must be a timezone thing. I have log in at the right time.

Read the thread, we've covered many times since the thread was started what it takes to be elligable for Partner Calls.

Regards

Got a big boxing punch from AC. They rejected all 8 articles:(

I wasn't sure if I should post this here but if not, sorry :\

So my question is:
- Do you guys know if there is another site like AC but with upfront payments in Euros ?
... 1? is almost $1,5 :P
