Hi All,

Last few week I have been spending 3-4 hours a day reading on SEO (After my 9-5 Job) and I feel like I understand SEO very well, e.g site structure, crawlers, linking, keywords.

Obviously you never jump in to a business without a plan, but my question is, what should I be doing everyday SEO wise, e.g should I build links everyday or write content everyday? What is a daily SEO practice for you that you never miss?

I am not doing any SEO at the moment, although I used to. Articles? Yes, I used to write articles as often as I could to build certain backlinks manually. Sometimes I used Money Robot for which I used to write articles and use MR's internal spinner to generate lots of uniqueish articles for backlink websites. If you can outsource it, do it, you'll save a lot of time. Also keep an eye on Google Search Console data, sometimes you get errors and you need to fix them. When you create a new article on a website try to optimize it: for example, create a custom description for each article, assign keywords, make sure rich snippets are working if you are using them. There are websites to test these, look it up. Keep an eye on rankings, I use whatsmyserp because it's free.

I can never give structured answers so wait for other BHWers to do it :D

It's again me from the other post :D
I manage some amazon affiliate websites so i think i can help. The most important thing when building those kind of sites is doing proper keyword research soo i would spend most of the time and efforts doing that.
Once you get your keywords with all the related metrics you can start planning a structure for your website (Silo structure works really well for amazon affiliate websites).
Then you can start building your website. I will skip the initial setup part (installing google webmaster tools, using a serp monitoring website, IFTT etc)

For me daily tasks include:
- Writing long and informative articles (This is by far the most important task) - Check and proofread 3 times before posting, you don't want any grammar error on your articles. - I outsource this so i can't really tell how much time it requires
- Optimize on-page SEO for my pages (when you publish you articles make sure to optimize your on-page)
- Create web 2.0 properties or buy aged ones (i love web 2.0 and i love to let them age a bit before using them)
- Write articles for web 2.0
- Do some commenting
- Check competitors, plan next articles and find new keywords (weekly)

Those are easy daily tasks that you can start doing right after you build your website.
When your site is aged and you have more knowledge about your niche, your competitors, your serp position etc.. you can outline a more detailed strategy (eg. you might want to use PBN's to boost your ranking).

Hi again :) Thanks for the informative response, again ;) I do appreciate it.

Site structure - I was going to get the affiliate website built by a seller on here, I was looking at an expensive one $809 which includes a website, niche, some content, etc. Would you say this is a good idea considering I have the money to do so?

Informative & long articles - I was going to outsource all of the content to a content writer, I feel like they will be able to provide much better content for me than I can, again would you say this is good to do, would there be any cons to this? I was also going to use Grammarly on this to correct any grammatical mistakes.

Optimize on page SEO - Thanks man I will definitely be doing this and using Yoast SEO to assist.

Web 2.0 - I studied this at university, what would you define as Web 2.0? Just anything that the user can interact with? I was told Web 2.0 is just anything that is not Web 1.0, but my understanding is any template on Wordpress uses web 2.0, is this correct?

Commenting - Thanks I forgot about this one! seems like a great daily task to do! :)

Keywords - Again I am not so confident on keywords, I feel like this is a massive area to study, would you recommend I hire a keyword researcher from the marketplace here? or do they only provide a certain standard that I could massively overtake with research?

Competitors - Thanks I will have to study more on this one, it has been the one I was trying to avoid, it looks so overwhelming but I guess it is one of the main things to do SEO wise, so I will have to jump into this.

Thanks again for your response. Very informative.

- If you don't have any experience in building a website than you could go with a pre-made one from the marketplace. To be honest i wouldn't suggest you to buy one but instead to learn how to build one yourself (learn how to use a page builder and you'll be able to do whatever you want). You can find great tutorials on YouTube. This way you will save 800$ which you can invest in other activities, such as great content.

- Writing content is the by far the most time-consuming activity so yeah I suggest you to outsource it, also because you have no experience doing it. My personal advice is: don't go cheap on content writing, you want your articles to be engaging and to make people click on your links.

- Web 2.0 are subdomains of high authority websites (eg Wordpress.com, Tumblr.com). You basically want to build websites on those sub-domains which are related to your niche and then build backlinks to your main website. You can read guides about Web 2.0 here on the forum.

- Keyword research is a HUGE area of study. It requires time and efforts to learn it. To be honest I suggest you to buy a service here on BHW for this. There are a lot of professionals, just make sure they provide keywords for amazon affiliate websites and that the overall difficulty score for the keyword is low (since this is your first experience aim for low-competition kws).

- Yeah I mean the website comes with low competition niche, content and website so its a bundle really. Im not really a good at designing, I am actually terrible when it comes to designing a professional looking website, so I think it would be the best route.

- Thanks I'll look into Web 2.0s aswell, seems interesting.

- Yeah I wasn't sure how professional these people are, I gave a seed keyword to one of them for $80 and got 100s of keywords in my report in less than 24 hour, this must have been software finding the keywords for me, was not sure how reliable this actually is, as I dont want to build an entire business on worthless keywords.

- Definitely be buying expensive content, I am wanting to build a big amazon affiliate website and make it huge, and I want to build it for years, and content is the money maker after you get everything else perfected.

One big question since you are experienced with Amazon websites, Is having a single one as a big money maker and building it up over years a viable plan? or are Amazon websites only short-term money makers before having to move to another niche?

I bought several of these "all done sites" and always found them lacking.
Usually with poorly spun content.

Have you tried this seller? https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/amazon-affiliate-websites-your-stairway-to-passive-income-1-500-mo.897901/

It says in his infographics that his content is not spun and all hand wrote? I was going to go for his advanced package with the addons totalling $809

I think you should look around the .net and see who making good money with there so theme and rip it off .

at least you no it works .

there apps that can download full website will be with there images and video but at least your be having somethink that can convert.

just change the kw, image, video, content.
add your products and prices and reviews.

Yes, that is definitely viable and probably the best if you have a long term vision. Once you manage to get some authority you'll be able to rank for more keywords easily. If you plan to grow a big authority website make sure to choose a niche where you can expand later on. (For example if you choose the kitchen niche you can start reviewing microwaves, then move to ovens and later you can expand into other kitchen appliances). Try to choose a domain not completely keyword related but a more brandable one instead.

Isn't downloading and using the website illegal due to intellectual property? Also copying is not my game, I like to start my own things from scratch, I like the information though I appreciate it.

Interesting, I definitely have long-term vision, I have no motivation when it comes to things that only earn you money for so long, I want a brandable site that I can be proud of, when people ask how I made so much money, I can show them my website and be proud. Keeping that in mind I may take a different approach, I may get a website designed for me, but choose the niche for myself and find a professional content writer. Rather than buying a bundle.

You wouldn't know any good guides on here or books on Amazon regarding picking a niche would you? E.G how to find niches with low competition but high popularity or highish, and then I can pick a niche I can expand on.

I actually don't build backlinks at all, if you can create a perfect silo structure and create long-form informative articles with on-site optimization, you should start ranking on 'Page 1' within 30 to 40 days, and as your authority grows within this particular niche, you'll start ranking higher and much quicker. Much of my day is spent identify quality 'Content Ideas' with little-to-no competition, followed by outsourcing and editing articles to suit my requirements.

Ahh so most of your time is spent on keyword research? How do you find your niche? Where did you learn to find good niches?

What's the perfect silo?

During my extensive use of SEMRUSH and manual google search I come across certain 'Brand New Blogs' with low authority ranking high for certain high volume keywords, this is usually the primary indication of an untapped niche. I just learnt this via experience.

What's the perfect silo?

The perfect silo is basically a tightly packed one, where every piece of content is relevant to a topic and there are no links going outside the silo, but its not necessary to be so strict, I've seen results even with loosely packed ones.

How would someone new find them "brand new blogs"? is there a certain search needed or tools like Semrush? Thanks.

Just an advice. You can build up an super quality Amazn affiliate site for half of that price (more less) yourself. (With non native written articles you could build a site for $100 yourself) And you will gain experience to build more sites in the future.
