Quick poll to get people's thoughts. I'm about to start building a large network of dropped domains just wanted to get peoples thoughts about dropped domains.

Are they still working fine for everyone?

I've seen some people saying yes as normal, some people saying not so much these days.

They are fine.

Check their history as well as their current DA. With content is good as well (but rarely possible) Re-creating the URL's that have inbound links rather than using redirects is a good idea.
Other than that they work fine. I only know of one or two PBN's that individuals have made and Google have slapped, and there was always a good reason for that. Normally footprinting, shit content or over linking

my experiment with dropped domains has been a total disappointment so far. I think its time to buy the expired domains rather than find them on my own

I buy expired. You can always test and see what works.

If you build a decent PBN it still works (because PBN's look like legit sites).

Hey man, can you walk us through exactly what you did? I'm curious to see why you've had no luck so far

As long as the domains are clean and the PBNs are built properly, they are still working fine.

It Works! It doesn't really matter as long as the domain is strong and clean.

i simply focused on finding high da clean domains and then make a site on them hoping it would rank quickly. Nothing happened after 2 months so far.

With the effort put into building a PBN properly, I've found it more worthwhile to just pay more for auction domains. Rank lower comp keywords on the PBN with just its existing link juice and break even/make small profits from the PBNs. Expired domains took too much time to scrape, filter and check. By the time I found a usable expire domain, I could've finished building a well-built PBN already with keyword research and content.

there not many good dropped clean domains around being honest .

i useally got to rebuild old drop stuff take forever getting done via google .

but they still work.

running exspired web.20 up there arese helps and re doing the article.

exspired web 2.0 help no matter what , with out the push with exspired web 2.0 all my domain including heigh da would just do nothink....

what i do, use ahref and majestic and moz.

Buy heigh domain.
Clean it .
Add web 2.0 to the arse of the domain.
Change or improve article .
Throw patasite at it to boost the whole project

I see, did you let them age before you added the links?

For sure dropped domains still works. Important to buy them from a trust worthy place that have checked the domain quality before they are put out for sale.
Good luck

I only register dropped domains really because of the prices of auctions.

Work perfectly fine.

Well that's enough evidence for me! Thanks as always bhw dudes! :-)

They will always work perfectly fine as long as they are clean. But, considering the low supply and massive demand, you have to drop your expectations a bit. Don't expect scraped, clean, brandable, .com domains with CNN and Huffpost links and that kind of stuff.
