Thinking about giving up...

Hey, guys...

After a few failures I'm feeling like giving up is the best choice.

In some book I read that there's 3 kind of lives, the prison life, the comfortable prison and the good life.

1. The prison life is when you feel trapped, you have a miserable life, so it's easy to seek for something better, that's not my case.
   
   
2. The comfortable prison is where I am, I have a job, more or less well paid for the medium salary in my country, a nice penthouse (not a luxury one, but I can't complain), perfect girlfriend, nice car, etc.
   
   But I don't feel complete, I hate my job, it's very difficult for me to get up in the morning every fucking day and I don't like where I live (the city).
   For almost 5 or 6 years I have been trying to create a real business, not beer money, something strong and powerful and I created around 4 or 5 business, 2 of them were successful, I mean, they were profitable but not enough to quit my job, and sadly not scalable.
   
   The other 3 were failures, losing money every month.
   
   
3. I want the fucking Good life, where I can live where I want working in something that I like, being happy in the mornings.

I have to say that I was happy, a few years back in my last job, the salary was shit but at least I wanted to get out of bed everyday, but also I can't pretend to expend a lot of years working for peanuts.

So my last journey, here ( https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/0-to-1-000-000-in-2018-with-0-im-knowledge.1012974/ ) was trying dropshipping, I wanted to learn how FB Ads worked to use them in other business, but I'm not succeeding. And I already expended around $1000 and a lot of hours trying...

Should I quit? Conform with what I have? Should I keep trying? Continue expending and testing?

I don't actually know what kind of attitude you have but here's mine :
I won't give up for 1 second never ever ever.
I mean sure, sometimes things don't work. If you are not good with dropshipping yeah maybe try something else but never give up in that luxury life or that perfect happy job you are looking for.

If you're not in the #3 group, you're in the #1 group IMO. Comfort is boring, and that's what #2 is. 5-6 years of "failure" is 5-6 years of experience figuring out what DOESN'T work. So use that knowledge and push ahead until you hit #3.

Even then, you probably won't be satisfied, which is a good thing, IMO - keep going and pushing yourself. If you give up at the #2 stage you're in now, you're not much better off than being in the #1 group ("it's very difficult for me to get up in the morning every fucking day and I don't like where I live (the city)" - this should be all the motivation you need to keep working towards a better life).

I disagree with you.
There are 2 kind of lives. The miserable one (created by the others) or the good one (the one created by yourself).

Let me tell you my own story in few sentences....
I am a programmer for 12 years and since the beginnings I have been working for me and myself only. I have never worked in any other company. In 2016 I opened my own company for web design and internet marketing... That was the happiest moment in my "business" history! Since then, 99% of my tries were failures. I have been trying to work on/with EVERYTHING and no matter what, I was failing... I failed to properly advertise my software products locally, I failed with getting clients for almost 1.5 years, I failed with my first 2 websites (SEO) and so on.... Today, I LOVE when I am about to fail... You know why? Because I got used to it (yes, it might sound funny). I trained myself that when I fail, I actually learn... I actually learned that if I do the things I did I will fail again and that I have something to bear in mind.
And hmm... The 99% failed tries... What about that 1%? That 1% is my ONE and ONLY success so far. Yes, only one! My only success is that I never quit. My motivation, my desire to do MORE and MORE, to FAIL and FAIL until you make progress, is what kept me "live".
Now my company has 3 employees, 15+ happy (offline) clients, 80+ online clients (Web design, SEO and software users) and I have traveled around the world for the time being.

You control everything. You are the owner of your body and mind. It is YOU that makes the decisions. It is you who will fail... or succeed.




Either start working on your dreams, or someone will hire you to work for theirs.
You never fail. You either win or you learn.
Never aim for money, let them be the award for your success.

It is up to you buddy.


P.S. Never EVER do a job that you hate it when you wake up.

If you give up, all IMers will be very happy, one less camper to worry about.

Most of people now just think that somehow doing IM is easy af and only requires internet speed above 1 mb/s.

Don't spend your money nilly willy - do your research and plan every move you make and most importantly, don't be afraid to make a move and take action and learn what you may have gotten wrong. Tweak your plan & try again. On and on and on 'til you see results. It's life.

I dont mind the hard work because I really believe that its easier to do the " work-extremely-hard-and-fail-a-lot-untill-you-succeed-eventually" rather than living a life of struggle, not being sure where the money will come from and all that, which is what most ppl I know of live.
