If god appear before us and ask to choose any one wish form these two.

1. I give you complete freedom in your life.
2. I make you wealthy influential person in the world.

both these wishes don't have any side effects you live above 80 years happily. which one you choose?

I don’t like being confined. I don’t want to have to go to an office every day, and I can’t leave until 5pm, or I can’t take a day off.

And equally, I don’t always want to stop work at 5pm.

So being an entrepreneur for me means I can take a Monday off if I want to go out with my kids, and I can work Tuesday 9am to 9pm if I want.

Basically flexibility, freedom and control.

And of course it’s great not working to make someone else rich.

Well, being an entrepreneur makes you your own boss and plus, who doesn't love setting their own vacation time

"Freedom"? "Your own boss"? Seriously?

Here's the truth: You end up having an employee you can't fire (you) and a boss (again, you) that isn't doing much bossing to the employee.

Yes, it has flexibility. Yes, there's money. But not if you're slacking around - you have the market as a boss and it will summarily substitute your services/products for someone who serves them better.

I was raised grinding pretty much. I've worked 9 to 5 before and can't stand it. Usually would hustle on the side and then branch off, but now I'm full time hustle. Just looking to start up multiple projects now as backup in case 1 fails. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it's super fucking stressful and your always "on work". An employee just goes to work, comes home then doesn't have to worry about his job until his next shift.

If someone enjoys freedom while earning pennys, then what's the issue? It's not only about money in entrepreneurship. There are lot of other factors why people choose to pursue this lifestyle.

Pretty much the same as everyone else. Money + more Free time.
Even if I become the best in my profession, I still couldn't become super rich like entrepreneurs can. Plus I'd be miserable while doing it.
The older you get the more you value time. I can't stand wasting my time from 9 to 5 for someone else. I could be doing things that make me happy if I'm an entrepreneur.
It doesn't mean that I would work less, but I would work on my own terms, and that would make me happy.

Why do people think entrepreneurs have all the freedom? We're still slaves of our own jobs and clients.

Some work for 15 hours per day, some are online almost 24/7, I'm talking about online entrepreneurship of course.

Sure, we still have freedom to work from anywhere in the world, take time off when needed, things like that.

But at the end of the day, work still has to be done, clients and your business are waiting. There's always something over your head since you are your own boss, there are clients and work that will always be over your head.

Working full time 9-5 while still freelancing will skyrocket your chances of buying assets faster and speed up the process to a beautiful future.

I was doing my job in an renounced software MNC & throughout my Job carrier , I have earned money, respect, promotions , world tour but less peace and almost no time for myself and for my family.

Now, I left my job and started my IM carrier once again (I was doing freelancing in my collage-days), and started my own start-up.
But the one thing an entrepreneur must keep their mind as always: PATIENCE.
Sometime, it may comes to you as a BIG-BORING works; but keep patience, implement & execute new ideas to keep yourself energetic & motivated.

That's highly subjective. Complete freedom also means financial freedom thus you'd be able to spend in what you want, so I'd definitely choose 1

Anyways, I am not an entrepreneur yet but I will soon be I hope, right now I'm working for money but soon enough money will work for me

For me 100% the freedom, but the money is a big part of the freedom you can get.

I simply can't work for a boss, tried several times, got fired every time again due to the same complaints. Most of these companies are now my clients and give me the freedom they couldn't give me as an employee

now this is what success looks like.
