how much your sales? Why should an general store to be a failure? You can test the products for upcoming trends and you can fully work with general stores, i've had several. Obviously you dont have the time and resources to market everything, do target research and ad testing but you also dont do this with niche stores. If you do ads you usually do for 2-3 products max.. maybe just 1, flip your site and move on. Dropshipping isnt a stable business.

Did you link them up with custom domains?Probably created 80 stores, 50 of them last week when the Shopify Partner hype train came.. only to realize that you can make 10 orders/sales with each store and that's that.

No but i probably will.
They didnt allow to attach your own domains at first but they have lifted this now, i hope they will lift the 10 sales limit as well, so i can actually start benefiting from this. Otherwise is no use and quite pointless.
I know some people that are doing 6 figures amonth in revenue, with private labeled products from china, spending $5k-$10k a month in ads, making about 40%-45% profit. yes you can make akilling but you can also do really well dropshipping. really depends on the products you sell and your marketing skills. Is Dropshipping still pretty lucrative, I heard Amazon private labeling was a lot more profitable.
This isn’t true. I created a store last week using the Shopify partner trick and I’ve already received 207 orders with no problems.Probably created 80 stores, 50 of them last week when the Shopify Partner hype train came.. only to realize that you can make 10 orders/sales with each store and that's that.
