Seems risky considering that once you breach their TOS you can be marked for life.

Why you want to fake it ?

Because if I use my real identity and I do a mistake while trying out a method, the affiliate program can ban me and I won't be able to try again.

Yes of course, or how else do you expect to be paid

Those methods are always short term I'll go for the long term stuff these days

In reality, this actually isn't "always" so simple. There are many customary marketing and conversion optimization strategies that are utilized that aren't permitted by networks.

Not going to name them all off.

If you can fake your identity and manage to get paid, you can fake it the second, third on nth time too. So you might as well start out with your real identity.

As long as you provide the network with a working payment method, i don't think that they care, they don't run background checks, although you need to send them a filled out and signed tax document. If you're an international publisher and since most of the networks are located in the US, they have no way to check your identity.

With that said, i use my real info on all networks.

I do. Apart from getting commissions to a real bank account belonging to a real entity, me, I guess the people in the traffic coming to my sites are not the least bothered about who I really am, unless I earn a 5-figure amount in dollars every single day through that website!

The content is far more important to them, and the fastest they move on -- to buy the advertised item -- from my site, the better it is for me!

I don't think it is worth it to hide anything, if you signed up with a good company, there is nothing to fear.

Also if you faked something, you'll have troubles in the future, and missmatch in withdrawing your money, from say your account to paypal, or something similar might give you a huge problems with both paypal and the affiliation company.

So unless you are you not looking to stay with them for a LONG time, and if you are not working on building something to last, I would say go for it, but if you are thinking for something good for the future, NO, don't fake information with them.

By the way they also use their legal information and they should make payouts to your wallets. Or you want to use also fake info in systems like Paypal or Payoneer?
