[Serious Thread] What are your current roadblocks?

Balls. Balls and motivation.

I have a problem with not being able to spend. I just don't have the balls to spend whatever spare money I have without any guarantee I'll profit. I have tried the 'free' money making methods out there but most of it require social networking skills or at least a couple of friends. The second roadblock is staying motivated and constantly second guessing myself. Not being a 'native' content writer is another small roadblock when trying to compete in this completely saturated market. My ineligibility for a Jr.Vip as of now is also a setback. Ultimately I'm just a pussy who bitches about everything without doing anything.

I'm trying though, I have one site set up and maybe I'll get better at maintaining and ranking it eventually.

If your content writing is anything like the quality of what you've just posted, I don't see any reason why you'd need to include "native" in your sales spiel. Let the words speak for themselves. Typically, I've found the sales threads offering content and touting "Native English" to be some of the lowest quality. You've got this brah. Revert back to this thread: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/we-are-all-gonna-make-it.1006416/.

Just keep posting quality content and wait another 30 or so days and you'll be eligible. The time will fly.

My age. I can't sign a sim-only phone contract, so I have to pay extortionate pay as you go fees. I can't sign a lease in my own name so I have to get someone else to do it for me. I can't have a business bank account or even a contactless debit card so I'm stuck with 7 normal bank accounts to easily track my money. I can't even be the first into the office because of health and fucking safety. When I was under 16 I couldn't even send payments via online banking, I had to pay extortionate PayPal fees and have multiple stealth accounts. I can't invest in stocks or purchase property so can't move forward with all of the diversification projects I have planned.

Don't suppose you have a time machine laying around, do you?

Jesus. Is 18 the age you're needing to reach to obtain capacity to accomplish some of these things? If so, how much longer do you have left?

Managing school, family, and IM projects is impossible D:

Need friends and partners, can't go in a long way without it. Everything stucked when i do things alone.

Yes. It's mainly because minors cannot legally sign contracts. Because, you know, they can tax all my money but I'm not mature enough to spend it how I want.
how much longer do you have left?
Toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long.

I made like 30 grand when I was 16 with viral facebook apps and content lockers. I think my dad paid the taxes on it for me and gave me the remaining monies. A lot of companies don't check your age. I was on CPALead at the time XD

I will take a look at that, don't really have good faith in 'online' partner though. Got scammed while ago when they just ran with the money and everything screwed up.
Anyways, could you share yours as well? :p Really curious what is our big mod's roadblocks

I don't have much in the way of roadblocks when it comes to IM as I'm working on not working all that much.

As to not having faith in online partners you need to do a better job vetting as I've made millions (yes Millions USD) with online partners. Some of those I have met in person and some of those I have never met in person.

why not do it under one of your parent's names? I do most of them under my mum's name bc no local bank would even allow me to even open a bank account. and I just turned 17 last month

These are my roadblocks in personal level.

1. Being perfectionist: I take ages to do simple stuff as I try to do everything perfectly
2. Un-organised, poor time management: Despite having a list of things to do, most of the time I lose track of finishing them. Often I even don't start.
3. Easily distracted: Often middle of doing something I lose concentration and decide to check email/messages/logs etc and forget what I was doing.
4. Unable to carry out multi-tasking: This is ruining my life. I just can't do two things together. In both micro and macro level. (Probably the reason being the point no:1)
5. Poor delegation skill: I just don't like other people's work. Therefore I try to do most of the things by myself (again referring to the point no: 1)

These are I can think of at the moment. Definitely there are lot more. I will add them later.

I have this issue constantly. Too many eggs (@MatthewGraham) in too many baskets make it to where I either a) focus too much time on one project and the rest get neglected, or b) scatter myself and spread too thin on multiple projects. It's tough.

May I suggest prioritizing things based on a combination of potential profitability, ease of setup, and your interest in the project? What projects would you still be willing to work on even if you weren't expecting returns from them?

Thanks @Sherb

Yes, I think I should make a list of things to focus and prioritize and organize my shit faster. Definitely have to continue the ones which fetch me constant positive ROI.

Stress, and things just being unpredictable. It's pretty much about that i'm finishing high-school, and i need money for tuition, otherwise i won't be in position to afford a the first year in uni, and moving into another city.
I had the experience of working with someone for like 5 months on developing a website + sources of traffic, where person just unfriended me few days before launching and that stopped responding. He didn't complain on anything before. Just like that.
Worst few days of my life - stress wise. I just poured all my energy into that project, expecting a decent income. And BOOM. Like nothing happened. So i'm left with 2 more months time to establish some passive (500$/month) income for myself.
So, stress, and PTSD-like trust issues. :)

A few constraints i'm facing right now:
  1. Low budget and already used the Ahrefs trials a few times and can't do it more. Have like 7 exports I want to do but no way to get the link data i need. If anybody would be willing to export some of these for me i'd be very very grateful
  2. sending cold emails at 15k a month scale from semi-cleaned email lists, trying to find a working method

What I can help on:
  • mindfulness - i have been meditating and running daily for the last year and it has done wonders for my motivation and drive
  • traffic ideas - I have grown a few sites to 100k+ visits before (mostly via social)

PM me your requirement.

So to summarize
1. Too organized
2. Not organized enough
3. Cant focus
4. Focus too much

Hahaha

Finding decent media buyers to scale up my business.

I've literally tried everything (even tried coaching to help filter decent candidates) but it's hard to find decent media buyers that a) won't steal your campaigns and/or b) won't run away after you teach them.

I know others find this easy, personally this has been a huge problem in the past year for me. I have managed to get 2 media buyers out of a pool of maybe 2000 candidates...
