What linkwheel?

I have tried many variations of linkwheels etc. I want to try some diferent linking structures and was hoping for some methods from others experience.

To share what I have done, I have created these two diagrams

I have also done the above closed i.e. link from 6-1

Here is another one I have used:

Can anyone else share their structures that they have had good results with

This wasn't originally designed for a linkwheel but I am thinking about trying to adapt it. It wouldn't be a "wheel" as such, but a network which is designed to be difficult to detect as a manipulation attempt.

It's designed along the mathematical principle of the hamiltonian path. In other words, if you juice up each node equally, node 5 will receive a much larger share of the linkjuice due to a highly complex non-regular PR flow.

Node 5 does not link out, and serves as the money site.

You may have read elsewhere that I like to avoid closed loops. This is true with linkwheels, but this is not a linkwheel as such. It's a different kind of network, where the relationships are irregular enough to allow some closed looping.

However, the principle is the same. Build properties, make content, build links, count the money.

Linkwheel number 2 would be much more powerful if you made the Link wheel and had a focus hub.

I've found that this type of linking structure helps. Now the Web 2.0 properties I used do not have to be the same as in the picture. Variation is key.

With that said, I tend to use Squidoo for my focus hubs because customization is great on Squidoo, not to mention really easy.

Also, you can have many focus hubs. This was just to demonstrate what I meant.

It works great for me.

Here's another that I use when I want to go all out.

Now take note that using multiple keyword linkwheels is great because you will get variety. Also note, that you can choose whether or not to point all links to your money page. If you are worried about it, then just make another focus hub and focus the links from the other focus hubs to it, or use one as your main focus.

If you do so a linking structure like this, make sure you:

1. Vary your anchor texts
   
2. Space out promotion
   
3. Use a site on your own domain for your money page(highly recommended)

Using this structure does the money site rank above the web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo? I can see Squidoo out performing your money site in that example.

Are you dominating page one with all these linkwheels?

When I point my links to my MP then yes, I can get it to rank higher than my Web 2.0 sites. Sometimes it takes some time.
That last one I posted is one I use as more of a long-term strategy.

But with all the rankings I grab, everyone ends up on my money page anyways, so I'm not too worried about the timing.

For me, that's what link wheels - or any type of advanced link-farming method - is all about.

Web 2.0 authority sites grab fast rankings and pass on authority to my money page. So I get short term cash from the fast rankings, and I get long term cash as I continue to promote and rank my money page higher.

Because variation = "naturalization" in Google's eyes. If I have the same anchor text, that's a footprint.

Anytime you do the same thing, you are leaving a footprint. This goes for anchor texts, the Web 2.0 properties you use, etc.

I even throw in a few "click here" or "here" type of anchor texts. This helps rankings even more because it looks "natural".

Why do you say alter the anchor text?

It been suggested that G will notice the pattern in the link txt.
for example if you always use the phrase "Click here to get more action" w/ action being the link. google will notice the pattern.

mmmm interesting. Thanks for the info guys. I am about to begin on a major linkwheel building task and want to get the best out of my unique 36 articles i have written!

What structure would you do with 36 web 2.0 sites all unique content all different web 2.0 sites? Any suggestions?

When I make a new wheel, the things I agonize over the most are what urls, titles and anchors to use.

Here's the situation. I have wheels with keyword-exact titles, urls and anchors which rank spectacularly well.

I also have wheels where I've introduced variation at every point, and they rank well too.

But there is a third class of wheel, which has many members from both of the above categories - wheels that never ranked. They may have been to diffuse or too laser-targetted. Thing is, i don't know what the problem is, so I have fallen back on the theory that it's simply due to the niche.

Common sense tells us that if these factors are varied too much, Google will not rank you for the right keyword. It also tells us that if we make our networks look too obvious, we will be penalised.

The evidence, however, tells a much more arbitrary tale.

Just read it! great stuff, some bits made me LOL.

I like the structure and it seems to make sense to me. I like the no recipricol link idea!

Quick question, why would it matter if I register the web 2.0 sites using the same email and IP? Google cant get that info from the web 2.0 sites!

PER horseshoe,w e looking to avoid the web 2.0 properties finding out is why...I use a template in excel to track them
