Pardon my grammatical errors... kinda tipsy again. It's weekends and the end of the year... so it's my wine time, dammit! ;)
I dont think that I saw your posts when you werent drunk :D

And LOL@NoCoiners why you think that I don't have crypto? Dude after few days everybody you will be quiet because it will gonna go down.

$102,000,555,774 - Ripple - $2.63
---$9,400,538,189 - IOTA --- $3.38

Give IOTA $10,000,000,000 it will gonna rise double.
Give IOTA all Ripple money it will gonna rise 338 dollars.

Give Ripple Bitcoin money It will gonna rise 5-6 dollars.....

I even pasted numbers side by side because I can bet that you are so retard that you are not able to count...

After few days you will be all silent I can bet it from 1000 dollars now. Because you don't have brain to understand mathematics.

I agree with you.

When the dot com bubble was in full swing they said the same thing - "turnover and profits (i.e. the maths) doesn't matter any more, it's all about the eyeballs".

Even Greenspan (yes the head of the Fed) said "the old rules don't matter any more, it's a new paradigm".

Well it wasn't, it crashed, and it proved that the "old rules" are in fact the only rules that matter - that's why financial institutions have stuck by them for so long.

When the housing market bubbled it was the same thing - the banks took the rule book and threw it out the window.

And in 1929, and in every other bubble - people start believing in a new super duper easy mans way to make money and get rich, and then lose all of their money, especially if they trade on margin - which is what a lot of the current wave of idiots seem to be doing.

What they can't seem to grasp is that you haven't mad eany profit at all until you convert the theoretical gains into cash money, and if you leave them on paper they'll be gone in the blink of an eye.

That is exactly what happened in 1929, peoples paper fortunes built up over months and months were not just gone within a couple of hours, they were replaced by huge debts.

But of course these lot are deluding themselves that crypto is different - but when it crashes they'll be screaming it isn't fair, they've been scammed and they want their money back.

Also, the reason why so many cryptos are massively going up in value is all because of the "HODL" mentality. But when there's a dip (usually whales making massive sell orders), it REALLY dips.

The market is really just a war between bidders and askers (buyers and sellers) and a game of psychology.

Pardon my grammatical errors... kinda tipsy again. It's weekends and the end of the year... so it's my wine time, dammit! ;)

P.S: Holding hordes of XRPs, Stellar, Golem, Cardano and so on... coins that I have researched on and have faith in. It's a beautiful day today. But then again, it is super volatile. My portfolio has went up 50% (prior to the crash), down to -20%, back to 0%, then to -10%, then to +5% and so forth. It is now +67%. Then again, it could just end up -20% or so tomorrow, who knows. So I just don't care about it anymore. Just HODL and use only money you can afford to lose.

Finally someone with some real common sense.
Im in cardano since $0.2 as well, great coin and absolutely fantastic team (go Charles!), congrats on the gains its at like 60cents RN.

best of luck bro :)

“XRP token and Ripple Payment Protocol are Different

Ripple is a global settlement network which allows banks to transfer money and settle international payments in different currencies. As more banks use Ripple protocol, it is becoming more valuable.

Contrary to popular belief, XRP currency is different than the Ripple protocol. XRP is a token or a native currency that works under Ripple Transaction Protocol. XRP protects the Ripple network from DDOS attacks, and prevents spam.

Do Banks really invest in XRP?

Banks do not invest, buy or hold XRP tokens.

There are banks working with Ripple company, and they make payments to Ripple company per their use of the Ripple protocol.

Real Value of XRP

Certain amount of XRP is being destroyed to cover transaction fees. Currently, the default transaction fee is 10 drops (0.00001 XRP).

As an example, only 10 XRP tokens need to be destroyed if a bank needs to settle 1 million transactions in one year.

To have a better understanding of the real value of XRP, we need to know its destruction rate.

From the inception of XRP, only 0.00526% of all supply has been destroyed.

According to this chart, daily destruction rate fluctuates between 2k and 14k, and appears to average around 8k. As more banks start using Ripple protocol, we expect the destruction rate to gradually increase in the future.

The recent increase in the XRP destruction rate is mainly because of DDOS attacks and other factors caused by the volatility of XRP prices. After the XRP volatility goes down, the destruction rate will also be lower and less volatile.

Here is the estimated number of tokens to be destroyed in 100 years:

1st scenario (8k average daily destruction for 100 years): 100 x 8,000 x 365 = 292,000,000 (0.29% of total)

2nd scenario (100k average daily destruction for 100 years): 100 x 100,000 x 365 = 3,650,000,000 (3.65% of total)

Even if the 2nd scenario becomes reality, we will still need around 2740 years to consume all XRPs. Sadly, none of us will live that long, and it is very likely that technologies like Ripple network will be outdated and useless 1000 years from now.

In other words, it does not make any sense to invest in an asset with the assumption that it has a chance to become scarce 1000 years later.”

Read it on telegram. Might wanna say something about it @zionbar

exactly why you should always convert back your crypto investment to fiat when you make noticeable large gains. when I made a fortune from TRX, i converted 25% of my investment there back to ETH and then from ETH to fiat, while I convert the rest of my TRX to other cryptos

that being said, I do think comparing crypto bubble to housing bubble is apple-to-orange. why? take a look at historical crypto chart and you will see why. in previous bubble (dotcom, housing bubble, etc.) none of them had 'bubble after bubble' like the one we are currently seeing in crypto world. it was mostly a single bubble and that was it after it popped

when BTC crashed from $1000 to $250 few years ago, people thought crypto was finished, but it bounced back this year from $1000 to $15000. The housing bubble you mentioned did not have 'bubble after bubble'. Crypto investment, in my opinion, is a very unique bubble that we've never seen before, because it generates bubble after another bubble. it's like bubble-ception where price crash 60-70% but then it always managed to find its way back to break all time high.

So next time you hear crypto price go down by 70%, you'll never know if it'll be the ultimate crash we all fear about or it will bounce back like BTC has done in the past.

One thing for sure though. it's always wise to convert back some of our investments to fiat once we make large gain

@ttmschine remember u said we wont go a penny over 600 billion? well were at 700 billion :)
point of the story - don't think you know everything, you dont, not saying I am, just saying im never betting against crypto

Bitcoin is like Myspace, ripple is like Facebook. I think it will probably hit at least $6-10 in 2018. Why? because of their top notch technology (1000 transactions/second compared to 10-20 for bitcoin) + huge media coverage (which creates demand).

i got lucky with ripple 10x , but only 100 bucks ( should invest more ) and bought again at 1$ now 2x
gonna enjoy the ride hehehehe
i think xlm gonna touch 1 $

That's exactly what I'm telling you.

Listen to yourself - it's gone up over 1300% in a year - and you're saying "what, it can't even double in value over the next few months?"

Like that's normal - lolol

You my friend are in for a VERY rude awakening.

@ttmschine heres what you said in case you forgot. lol.
Anyway, the marketcap like I said will def reach a trillion soon. Its been up 100 billion in less than 1 month.

By the way! the "rude awakening" you mentioned consisted of 5X my money on cardano, doubling on a few other cryptos, and almost 5X on ripple. if thats a rude awakening I hope ill get more of these.

Bottom line - stop hating on crypto and start investing before its too late :)

Legit?

It's the new year and one of my new year's resolutions is to cut down on my alcohol intake (not that I'm an alcoholic).

But it's such a great day. BTC and alts are rallying. My portfolio ROI as of now is 100% (frankly speaking, I'm in disbelief as it is just a mere 3 weeks and. So a glass of wine to toast to the beautiful start of the year!

Annnnnnd time to have a quiet, peaceful night.

A lil' music, a lil' candlelight and night ambience, a lil' aromatherapy, a lil' meditation, and a lil' wine.

I was going to sell at 3 with this current rally and catch it back at 2. Anyone else?

I decided to margin trade XRP today and made quite a bit in a few hours. Sold most at the $3 mark and it looks like it will go back down to around $2.50 soon but who the hell knows.
