It's that time again - we're on the lookout for a few new moderators to join the BHW team as "Moderators in Training".
A quick bit of info about the spots -
Mods in Training are volunteer positions. You'll generally be assigned at least 1 primary section to monitor as well as a few of the general sections, such as the Lounge, Suggestions and Feedback, etc. During training, your primary responsibility is managing the content of your assigned section(s). This includes pruning spam posts, properly categorizing threads and posts, and assisting members with edits where needed. You'll work with the senior staff on member issues and administrative duties until you're graduated to full moderator status.
Once you've reach full Moderator status, you're able to approve service requests (of which you'll get free review copies), access every section of Blackhatworld (including Jr Exec VIP and Executive VIP), and access the moderator's forum.
Experienced Internet Marketers are encouraged to apply via the http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/staffapp.php. If you have specific experience or knowledge that will help us match you to a potential spot, be sure to let us know about it when completing the application.
As of now we're especially interested in candidates with real-world knowledge of Email Marketing... not email spam, but legitimate Email Marketing. If you're a pro in this space be sure to let us know.
Once you've completed the application, there is no need to follow up, and doing so won't speed up the process of improve your chances. If we like what we see, we'll get in touch. We're currently all set for Mods. So I'm closing this thread - if you want to become a mod hit the "staff application" link at the bottom of the page.
Please note when looking for mods we are more likely to accept applications from people that have been active and engaged on the forum for some time with a strong reporting background (think report button and then give reasoning / which rule you think they have broken).
Posting a new application every day isn't going to help your cause.
