Is digital marketing course worth it?

Hi everyone

I am a new entrant to this lovely forum. It's been more than few days since I joined. Have been closely following and reading threads, and gaining a lot of knowledge.

I do not have strong digital marketing background. I am planning to pursue a digital marking course from a school. Need to get your advise if it's worth if spending $800 for 3 months.

If not, what is other way to learn it. Pls note I know about many online courses but it's really difficult to learn considering technical knowledge is not very strong and do not have live projects. Hence I wonder how some people over the years here on the forum and have made that expertise. Pls advise

Been doing SEO for 3 years so far and recently joined digital marketing 1 year course, so far so good, great way to get the most important information quickly and structured. But I'am sure if you really want to achive something specially in digital marketing you can do so without school.

Any tips buddy from your end?
 
Instead of joining a school to learn digital marketing if you read BHW for three months then that would be more than enough.
 
if you are looking to get employed by someone to do their slave work then a course may get you there
if you are looking to make money on your own and build your own biz in time then read fulltime and practice fulltime for 3+ months on bhw will get you closer to that specific goal but this depends on your skill, intelllligence, creativity, resourcefullness, deciveness, practical nature, discpline and more. Having the right mindset is a necessity regardless of what you know and learn

I currently have a full time job and I get paid $1500 monthly. I am into administrative job.

I am totally sick of my boss. Does it make sense for me to leave this and practice on BHW for 3 months. Yes I can afford this loos for these 3 months but not more.

Will I be able to start making a little (not full) money through my hard work. Can you pls comment based on your knowledge, and I know this is not a very straightforward question.

IM is like gambling,things which works for me ,might not work for you,you need to find your thing and scale it up
 
This is my 2 cents. If you buy a $200+ plus course on digital marketing it will cover almost everything you can find in a $12 book about digital marketing or small businesses. It will help speed up the process and give you a framework on how to get started but if you have a very strong drive to learn from any source available then I don't think it'll be worth it too much. You can always check out the download section on BHW and see if there is any courses there that they are giving away. That's what I did and got a few good ones but like I said I could of went to the library and found all that info in a book or two.

It is unlikely you will gain the momentum and cashflow needed to replace your job within 3 months based on the average person and the average person fails. I do not know you, you may do a lot better or you may do worse, but if you want this in 3 months you have to be excellent not just above average in a lot of factors mentioned earlier and get access to the right information and have this combined correctly on your own. Hardly any good way that is properly working without your own twist is shared publicly, people lie like beasts to get a few likes and sell ebooks or courses or even the posts that " teach" here on bhw have a lot of garbage including the journeys. It also highly depends which direction you take, if seo then be in for a long haul unless you are good at numbers and deducting and inferring conclusions and correlation from data and able to scale that test data which is unlikely if you dont have the $$ to do that kind of setups and get access to the right tools etc. Cpa may give you faster benefits if you have prerequisite skills in creating or copying landing pages or coordinating with the right elements to create them and use the right tools to find the right offers and even then there is a shit load of testing. media buy/ppc/traffic buying you can forget about unless you have serious cash to burn and build up experience. Social media again has its own ways but this depends on your skills again and again and your knowledge, if you have proper pop culture background or are aware of trends and news then you can gain faster access even up to viral money and even youtube etc
There are so many more directions and which one you choose HAS to fit your mindset and skill if not you fail or get lucky once or twice and cannot replicate or scale



bottomline there are so many ways and I dont want to discourage you but if you are limited to 3 months then think hard and dont go into this half hearted
this is not 9 to 5
prepare to go in 9am to 2am or more with some days of no sleep
 
Everything is possible but you should not except to make money on internet marketing in 3 months.. can take 1 week, can take one year.. Depending on motivation, dedication, intelligence, luck etc.
 
SEO Can be Learn By Own Experience Only Not By Others So Read As Much As You Can Than Apply

Don't Waste Your $800 May Be You Can Utilize These Money By Doing Some Experiment
