avatar change for new members

as some new members join only to put up an avatar that promote there
service like this .

would it be a good/bad idea to have avatar changes locked behind
being a payed member donor/vip or have a post limit say 200 posts
b4 non payed users can change it, there seems to be some confusion
about avatars that direct promote a service, some mods remove them
but also some users who are reported for it several times nothing
happens.

if users wanted to promote there service they no they can do it with
97$ donor/vip but some choose not to pay and use the avatar pic
to get round paying. it should be if u dont pay u cant advert on bhw?

1 of the links i have posted only joined yesterday but right away has an
advert avatar to his vpn product, the other user i reported couple times
as his avatar ties to his home page url promoting profit donkey aff
but nothing was ever done, there not paying to advert so bhw is loosing
revenue while there product gains tratcion .

No. I feel that yellow members are already restricted enough. Any additional restrictions and Black Hat World will be like one of those free-to-play games where 99.999% of the content is locked behind a membership and the other 0.001% is just blue balls for the real game.

When you see avatars with blatant promotions in them, report them. I've already removed the avatars for the accounts you listed.

We were all new once - we want to welcome new members but where they break the rules - like selling outside of the marketplace - no matter how they do it - they will be infracted/banned as necessary. Please report anyone you see in breach.
