Followliker Error 400

I got a response to my ticket from FL support, which simply told me to follow steps in advanced help topic #91:

(91) I am getting this error message when the Instagram Like task is running: "400...feedback_required...Sorry, this feature isn't available right now..."

It means your account or IP/Proxy has been flagged by Instagram because they think you have been liking too many photos or liking photos too fast. Try these:

1. Stop the project in which the affected account is.
2. Set "Like Limit" to 2-3, set "Daily Like Limit" to 200-350, set "Delay Like" to 55-75 seconds.
3. Right-click on the affected account and select "Refresh"
4. Right-click on the affected account and select "Pause". Keep the account paused for about 48 to 72 hours.
5. After 48 to 72 hours, right-click on the account and select "Resume". Then, run the account again.
6. If the issue persists and you have not been using proxy, switch to an internet connection with a different IP address or rent a private proxy (probably from another country) and assign it to the account.
7. If the issue persists and you have been using proxy, change the proxy assigned to the account or rent a private proxy from a different provider (probably from another country) and assign it to the account.
8. Click this menu and try again: "File->Clear->All Session Cookies"
9. If the issue persists, pause the account for one week and try again after that.

So I've done that already -- I've already had those accounts paused for three days (since Friday). I did the changes to like limit and delay like, though I don't see how that would affect the initial like / error response I might get. I selected "refresh" though I dont know what that does. I haven't waited 48 to 72 hours but I'll do that now. I changed proxies, cleared cookies, tried again, and got the same error message.

Ok, four questions:

1) What the heck does "refresh" do? I can't imagine "refresh" doing anything more than logging out and in but of course I don't know.

2) What do the "session cookies" do? Does that have anything to do with how the program or account is viewed by IG?

3) I noted three accounts appeard to be affected all within a few hours of each other last Friday, all of which were on different proxies, and each looked different from each other with widely different ages. I can give you my FL settings if you like but it was fairly conservative, maybe 20-30 follows per hour and 40 - 60 likes per hour, less than 500 likes per day. The proxies are advertised as private IG proxies by a reputable provider. I have about 17 other proxies I could try in various US cities but if this is a FL issue that may affect how IG sees my proxies I dont want to swap to others for fear I'd 'taint' them. All three IG accounts affected were over two years old, with followers ranging from nearly 2k to 17k. I had rarely gotten any holds or temp bans in the past, and nothing like that in the last few months. All three accounts work normally on the android or ipad app. Also the app works fine on those proxies using the FL-affected accounts when I switch to that proxy using an android app that lets me do that.

4) Are other programs besides FL affected? I've read comments that some other programs are being affected, but it appears almost all of the affected users are using FL. It appears that IG has made some changes which affect the emulated app that FL is presenting IG, so that it easily blocks likes from that emulated app. Note the error that IG is throwing:

Last response code: 400 -> feedback_required Sorry, this feature isn't available right now An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later. We restrict certain content and actions to protect our community. Tell us if you think we made a mistake. was received from instagram [yourusername]

"Feedback required" means there would normally be some prompt for user interaction, I suppose like the temp ban we sometimes see on the app itself. Feedback is prompted, but not usually really required, if one waits a day or two the ban goes away. Rarely a ban may be applied longer than that -- I've never, ever had one longer than a day -- and I've never had FL or any other program banned without affecting the app. It might go away if I could tap on the button that IG may be trying to present FL, but I can't of course, that may be something that could be (or needs to be) implemented in the emulator's code.

It appears FL and maybe some other programs need to change how they are emulating the app. Some program providers may be less affected by this or not affected at all. If so, which ones aren't being affected as much, or not at all? I'm not looking to switch (right away), I just want to understand what's happening.

i notice a ban on my IG account as well, after 24 hours, the feature resume normal

Hi,

Same problems with igerslike. instagram done a major change on friday and it's stopped almost 2/3 of our accounts ( we have more than 400 accounts, 2/3 are on feedback status )

Thanks for the feedback. If others could comment on the response I got from IG above I'd appreciate it. If IG has changed its API or how it recognizes program emulation I don't know if their advice will help me or not. It's stock advice for when one gets this error message, but I don't know if it applies in this case or not. Also, I'd really like to know what "refresh" and "session cookies" does/do and FL support hasn't explained that further.

Your response isn't from Instagram its from followliker.

Followliker has a history of not responding to tickets or giving copy and paste answers.

I'll let you know what I find out from the app I use.

Looks like IG are wants to take down all the botted accounts :(. Disable all likes on all my account. Getting errors on liking ob both mp and Fl

Right, sorry for the typo, the emailed response I got was from FL support. I can understand them pointing to their manual for the first steps in troubleshooting, and I've done those steps up to the point of waiting a week. It does look like it's not just an issue with certain accounts and proxies, there's been some sort of IG API change, documented or undocumented.

In any case I just got an FL update (9.6.9) pushed to me, which I've installed, but without repeating the steps they've told me to follow so far that does not appear to have fixed this issue.

In the meantime, if anyone knows what "refresh" and "session cookies" does/do I'd like to know.

Refreshing and session cookies is to delete all your previous account session login, thus forcing FL to make a new login session. Think of it as logging out from instagram in your APP.

Its not followliker or proxy issue, I run instadub and I ran into the same issue along with a few SMM panels.
waiting to see how instadub deal with this, anyways FL still having this error.even with 9.6.9
:(

Private bots are having the same issue as well and today IG pushed an update even on the App Store so yeah, probably they just changed their APIs/keys and we have to wait.

It's not FL or whatever related, even the SMM (that are not using FL obviously) are having the same issues.

SSC, I agree I don't think it's proxies because I had some accounts temp banned on proxies and some not. Some of VPS IP's temp banned and some not. This is confusing. I have two test accounts and right now one is currently working (at very low settings) and the other one isn't. Both are on different, high quality, private VPS IP's that have never been used before me. I have one other account that's working on proxies. High quality provider.

I got the same response from FL support, but I don't think that is an accurate solution. I didn't do those steps for my one running account. I can't see pause and resume doing anything effective if the account is not running anyway. And they want us to wait a week if all those steps don't work??

FL worked for me without any problems this morning. But its now back to error 400 ... so strange .. whats up with IG the last 3 days

Maybe like with trying to figure out what the optimal settings may be for various delays or repetitions in various actions, one action may interact with another, and there's maybe not just one thing one could do universally to fix errors like "400". It looks like the error originates from IG, and prompts a response "feedback_required" -- sort of like a captcha, asking for a response only a human might provide, and then the program usually is supposed to either error out and stop or emulate a response like a human would. Only in this case, the program isn't doing that.

Maybe it's a good thing the program is giving this error message and stopping, as a bad emulation of human interaction might provoke a ban. Since the same accounts in the app work fine, proxy or not, it's likely an issue with FL and similar programs. It probably will be fixed, and maybe within that arbitrary week they say to wait after trying the more obvious steps of waiting a day or two or three, and doing the equivalent of logging out and logging in, checking and maybe changing proxies, etc.

One more observation to add....a lot of our accounts that are liking only are good to go, 100% of accounts on FLC are erroring out.

^^^
Oh snap....really...... might have to make adjustments.

I was experiencing the same problem. I thought it might be due to the age of the accounts. Clearly I'm not the only one though. Hopefully they sort this out soon. I'm somewhat doubtful though as Followliker doesn't seem to be too concerned about quality customer service.

Same. Perfect time for them to launch their new monthly subscription product (I'm just joking, I hope).

you got to wait And hope a programmer solves the likes new change .

that the whole problem about having a bot

as a internet marketer thing change sometimes and a lot of times bot die not becouse they want to because website change .....

don't put all your eggs in one basket , this advise is the only way your survive....

with a bot don't rely on 1 method use the bot for seval methods only way to truly survive

I may have mispoke. I got the error, but I'm still hitting my limits in my stats window.

It is NOT proxies... I use 1 proxy per ip and even went as far as switching proxy providers altogether. It is also not even allowing FL to like a single picture. Its not that it was liking too many pictures at all it will not let it like to begin with. I added a new account and received the same error immediately.
