Made $30 on two articles today

Redtide,

Is Hootsuite better than the Twitter autopost feature within the AC account?

I haven't used AC's autopost yet but I did active at it tonight. I'm just wondering if you compared the two.

The use of Twitter to fan page views has two more uses, one of which is this same approach can boost views to all the other paid writing sites for which one has articles---solving the problem of how to really make money with those other sites. The second function is, it can pump up the volume of your affiliate promotion anyway, because you can (and I have) slipped redirect links to affiliate pages into AC articles.

If the article link is a linkbucks type url going to another page/blog that has CPM ads on it, you've made money three ways (paid article, paid link, paid for ad impressions) without the visitor ever clicking to buy stuff or complete an offer. Teasing out this funnel to maximize the passive moneymaking, almost makes posting to free article directories and old-school WH affiliate marketing irrelevant at this point.

@ Milly - Hootsuite is pretty effective in that you can choose to submit to all of your Twitter accounts at once when you schedule your tweets. Also, in general it has alot of handy features like an url shortener and daily/weekly stats on how many times your links were clicked etc. It allows you to compare AC's page view stats vs. Hootsuite's.

@ zebra- That's a good idea with the redirect links, but with trying to build up clout level and long term income with the articles in your accounts, I wouldn't want to risk an account getting looked into and suspended for the redirect links. Many times they will ban all your accounts after looking deeper into that first account. I wouldn't want to run the risk of losing all of my accounts articles by trying to slip redirect links by them. It's great out of the box thinking though.

regards,

Redtide

Thanks you guys, :biggthump

By the way, any of you that are subscribers to my newsletter on my acguide.info page are in for something pretty cool. I've been putting together the first newsletter and it's going to be samples of certain articles I've submitted, breaking down how much AC gave for them and why they got what they did for upfront payments. So this part of the newsletter is for those of you who PM me asking for samples to judge their own articles by. Also, it's got a number of other tips that didn't make their way into the book that I'm throwing in there.

I'll get it out to you guys as soon as I can.

Have a good weekend all

Cheers

Dammit, I'm an idiot.

Anyone knows of a good proxy site? I'm googling/yahoo searching but coming up with crappy proxies. PM me if you know any. I would deeply appreciate it.

Now, I'm off to register more throw away accounts b/c my other ones got banned.

Sorry to hear about that Milly,

Can you share what you had done wrong so that maybe we can help others from having the same thing happen?

Regards

I sent you a pm don't want too much information sitting out in the open.

However, for all others who are concern, it was just a stupid, yet minor mistake.

Anyone know if AC allows it when you make like a 1000 word 5 step article, and split it up in 2 pieces?
Like:
"5 step guide on how to ... part 1" containing step 1+2
"5 step guide on how to ... part 2" containing step 3+4+5

or do they just deny it and tell you to submit as 1?

I've personaly never tried to submit a two part series, but I did a search on AC and saw that others have.

You should be good to go

I have seen split articles submitted on AC. I often come across a few when I research contents for a particular topic.

I've submitted 3 part articles and had them accepted at AC so I wouldn't worry about it as much as I'd worry about it being quality and not a bunch of fluff when you make it that long. That seems to be what they care about more.

I've been reading this thread for the last week and using all the information in it i've been getting consistent accepted articles for over $3. So far i'm pleased, I just need to work on outsourcing more and spending less time myself. Luckily I work on the computer 8 hours a day regardless so I just multi-task all day. This is giving me a nice little bit of bonus cash so far.

I've not been successful with multi-parters, as the reject message "AC does not accept multi-part artcles" has come up when I've tried. But if you disconnect the articles, re-edit and submit them as standalone pieces they can get approved.
