I am a native english speaker. I dont expect content to live up to my standards at these rates. That being said I ordered 20k words. ContentWriter keeps stating he is going to raise prices in a shameless marketing tactic as the content he provides is worth exactly what he is charging now. Any price increase over what he charges you can get MUCH better content at those prices.
So my first 10k words I ordered two product review guides for two separate product types with 6 products provided for each. Then a separate buying guide for each of the products. So basically 2500 words per section.
The content was delivered late. 7 days total, 3 days past promise date. Content was average at best. I spent quite a while fixing spelling errors, grammar errors, punctuation, vocabulary that doesnt make sense to english speaking people, and many many spacing issues with even random symbols. Either way the content was decent for what i paid.
Second order I asked to only review products. I sent 10 products to him asking for product reviews. He kept asking me to provide how many words to use. I told him i shouldnt have to tell you. Just review the products and the word count is the word count. He wouldnt do it so, doing simple math, i sent him double the products lets double the word count from the first product review, 5k words.
Content was promised july 12th. I just got the content today. I open the document and he sent me exactly what i ordered the first time. Product reviews and a buying guide. Totaling 5k words. My first reaction is, how did you provide me 6 product reviews at 2500 words but then i send you 10 products and its still 2500 words? Well going back, the product reviews the first time were only 1500 words not the 2500 i requested. If i had known this, I couldve corrected my math. Shame on me for not checking the breakdown...... Regardless, I still dont understand why he sent a "buying guide" when i asked for only product reviews.
Hes arguing with me that he sent product reviews when in the content theres over 2800 words talking about general info on the product niche i selected. Without giving away my niche, lets say it was for a car wash products. He wrote 3k words about what water temperature to use, what type of towels, where to wash your car, what direction to brush the soap. So if I sent him 10 types of car wash soap to review why am i getting this extra info. To me that isnt a product review.......its a guide.
In the end I requested a refund of the last 5k words which I received. I should've listened to my gut the first time and got a refund for the last 10k. Im a big deadline guy. If someone cant deliver when they promise I feel they are too backed up and the work suffers as they are rushing to keep up. This is what happened here. Since it took 11 days to deliver the content what i wanted slipped through the cracks and he delivered a repeat of what i ordered the first time.
I expect ContentWriter to come to the defense of his service which is totally understandable. Hes a good guy and does write decent content but it just isnt for me.
Id rather pay double and get what i want and just post it on my site with minimal proofreading..........or waiting and waiting to get the content to post.
