It's a flaw in their system, everyone's emails are currently bouncing back so no worries! Try again in a day or twoBut that was a while ago... would IG really run into the same issue? Did they just block my email and ip? Like I'm not sure.

Hey a lot of these guys are just out to steal your account. I had a friend who got scammed and then the scammer got 2 DMS on her personal asking for access to the start up email, which she later found out was the same guy. Really the start up email is all the proof you need that you're the owner and if IG sees the scammer has that too then there's possibly no way to get the account back. Proceed with caution, trust your gut, make sure he's 100% legit, and if he has vouches that those people are legit before really making a deal. You can easily do this yourself, what would this guy do differently? If IG's email is down, it's down. Not like this guy can like resurrect it or something haha just be careful all im sayinplease send me a PM, i need your help
And BTW anyone else email IG and get a reply from "Elliot?" I saw tsomeone else got a reply from him specifially on this thread ab a year ago so im skeptical if it's just copy and paste... I really hope it's not automated because otherwise how can I be sure I get my account back? It was hacked, the hacker enabled two factor authentication the first time, and after I told them they just sent an email explaining how to use it, not solving the issue... I sent another email but they didn't respond. Then later one of my older "friends" (not IRL we talke just in dm) from instagram is scammed from the hacker on my account and then the person being scammed gets angry and tells all his followers to report "his" (my) account for spam, so it's down now. When IG restores it, I wanna make sure that it's restored to ME and not to him... any ideas? I'm seriously considering flying to IG headquarters in CA if this isn't fixed quickly. ty all

The email system is working now.., I've been told to only pay got services from users with high rankings, a lot of people will just try to hustle you

It's partially automated. The first email you get is automated, and the second one is based on 2 possibilities whether they want to reactivate you or not. That's why it takes multiple times.Really ? Ok Im gonna send an email!! Do you think it's all automated or do you think real people actually look at it?

Send in reports during different times of the day, if you send them in too close whoever is processing your reports can deny all of them at once. Thanks for the help guys. So a staff member DOES look at the pictures correct? Under the code I wrote "DON'T REACTIVATE YET. HACKER still has my account. Please read full email" do you think they will actually do that, or just reactivate? Because then the hacker will just have my account again :/ not what I wantIt's partially automated. I believe they will just reactivate it. However once it's recovered you can use the support login request link (through your app) to have them help you change your password and regain access to your account

how did you get instagram to send you a email for the pic and code? i appeal through app all the time and get email saying they wont give my page backI did but I'm not sure why it's saying that ....are you doing the appeal thru the app

That usually just means you need to continue trying and trying.So you've sent it through the Instagram page and they told you you can't get it back? I'm not sure, but I think then unfortunately you can't get it back. If they are literally are telling you you can't... I mean they're Instagram. They have control. I'm so sorry. IF you made any friends on there before, I'd recommend explaining and telling them to shout you out on a new account you make. Right, I've been disabled over 7 times with that same email and always ended up getting my account reactivated
