Just a word of caution on YouTube

Just to give you guys a head up on something. A few weeks ago I got canned out of the blue. So I created a new channel last week and they canned that one too. "Terms Of Service" violation apparently, even though I did little with the new account but use viewet on some uploads and a lot of my subscribers came back in a very short period of time.

This tells me that not only are they changing the view counts, but they are cracking down on "views" and "subscribers" count. I strongly suspect we will be seeing a lot more bannings on YT in the coming days/weeks.

Apparently the spike in subscribers on my channel and the views gathered in Viewet triggered their spam bot to auto terminate my new account. Even though I did little the past week and only uploaded 6 videos, none of which were against the TOS of YT.

I'm not blaming Viewet for this, I see this as a sudden crackdown on YT.

So looks like I will be heading over to both DailyMotion and Vimeo to share my shit. Vimeo looks so much better than YT anyways, so I can't seem to figure out why people stick with a site that gives us so much grief.

Hi Jim,

It couldn't be youtube banning your new account because of your ip, matching your old account?

Seems harsh banning you for views etc... something which could have been given by another person and not you.

No, when I signed in I used a new IP from proxy using that Free Hide IP software. And when I was using Viewet I was conected to a south korean proxy server.

This is something very new. I've been using YouTube for over three years now and I've never seen anything like this.

I agree on the whole crackdown thing. They recently banned my adwords account after 6 years of spending thousands of dollars per month non stop. And it looks like they banned all of the suppliers that were advertising on the same "youtube views" keyword. Last month I checked the keyword had like 12 other views sellers. Now there is just one which i suspect is going to get banned soon. its kinda of a big setback but whatever. Google was bringing me in a huge amount of sales.

I like Vimeo over Youtube but never got the traffic or organic listings from G to justify using them

Vimeo rocks. I just joined tonight and have to say it is 100% better than GooTube. The only reason GooTube is so popular is because they actually allowed copyrighted shit uploaded on them when they first started, until Viacom stepped in.

I havent made any posts in this forum yet but I can get you Dailymotion views. Give me your dailymotion video url and I will give you a sample of what I can do. 10,000 views in one day!

have you tried using a refresher that has proxy support? youtube is the only video sharing site i know that cant be hacked by proxies as for the rest i think they all can.

Yeah, Youtube seem to punish those starting to become popular, but do nothing about the massive players.

I watched your dailymotion vids, and laughed so hard at you complaining about Ray William Johnson.
Have you ever tried to flag his videos down? How the hell does he get away with it... he is using other peoples copyrighted footage?!

Thats your problem, use a mac clone. or get a Private (paid) VPN.

on a related note, my youtube was invited to FULL partnership, and thats with me fucking buying like 1500 subscribers and using viewet on EVERY video. and i had like 500 vids...

but my gmail that was linked to that account was disabled thus leaving my account stranded.

so if they were banning viewet users, fake subs, fake views then they wouldnt have invited me to FULL PARTNERSHIP, and they would have banned my youtube, not gmail.

you are confusing IVP with full partner.

ivp is automatic.

full partner is an invite that is sent manually when an employee looks at ur vids and declares your channel worthy of partnership.

Full partner invite is automatic as well. They just put you on priority list for getting reviewed.

They better not ban my account each one of my videos are 3Gig's+ and not saved on my local drive... Takes me over 600Min to upload one 3gig video then like another 200min of youtube prepossessing to get it going live at 1080p......god i wish i had faster upload speeds
