[FREE] Images for commercial use

I've been lately using these websites, similar to stockphotos, however every picture (in full RAW and HQ res.) is free to use, even for commercial usage.

http://www.freepik.com/

They all got Creative Commons Zero license: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/
This means the pictures are completely free to be used for any legal purpose.

Very useful, biggest annoyance for me when creating websites is finding non copyright / royalty free images to fill it with that don't look like utter crap / overtly corporate and phony.

Nice share, OP. It should be added that users ought to consider making the images unique after using (crop, change size, change file name, flip, tweak colour, add filters, etc)...this is more for SEO purposes, in an attempt to also rank in Google images.

This has been shared many times before.
Is there really a need for another "Here are a few websites where you can find public domain images"-thread?

For everyone using there pictures:

If these sites have just ripped off other websites its still you that will be held responsible if you are caught - even though you thought the images you are using weres public domain one.

Nina Diercks (Social Media Law attorney) was a speaker on the Rock The Blog Conference (part of CeBIT Global Conference)
Not sure if she has published an article about that topic somewhere.
If you do not believe me, you will surely find plenty of sources confirming my claim if you do a quick google search.
