Yes method and not methods as there are many discussions on the net already on how to find a good seo provider. But for my method, I can sort out those so-called "white hat", "100% legal", "no auto backlinking software used"....etc and tear off their fake mask in just a few minutes.

Open up Traffic travis, go to "SEO" ---> "Backlinks" ---> "Pages To Analyse"

Next input one those portfolio websites url to analyse that the SEO providers provide on showing off their page 1 achievements.

To your surprise, you can find many "white hat" links they talking all day long are actually blog comments posting with OBL over 100s, and also with viagra, porno, gambling urls.

Yes some of them do rank well for NOW, but I believe will not be long and will be penalised by Google when the next update arrive.

Do your due diligence and you can weed out many "white hat" seo firms which charge alot more than it worth.

I have addressed this issue many times and have put down for it. I do not believe there are many good SEO companies on the Internet. Most are self made "gurus." Oh how I hate it when SEO people call themselves a guru. Stay away from anyone calling themselves a guru!!! Many claim you a position on the 1st page of the SERPs with Google in a few days. A huge red flag!

In order to find a good SEO company you need to do some heavy research and you need to what questions to ask them. IMHO it is important to hire a company who have skilled workers who speak and write English at a high level.


Also, if you find a company who says "everything" is done by hand, avoid them. Nobody who does good SEO does everything by hand! If they are lying about this what else are they lying about?

If you do not know what questions to ask then hire someone to do this for you! Paying a consulting fee to do your groundwork can save you lots of grief in the long run. And, remember that "NOBODY' really knows Google's algorithm.

What I often see on BHW are many people who believe they have the key to successful SEO. And they often sell their idea to people who have very basic knowledge of SEO. Most threads start with "follow me on my journey" and usually are self serving. They often want people to sign up to something creating a nice list. buy services from the or they are often connected to some affiliate program. I would stay away from most of these people with a 10 foot pole. Read between the lines.

You cannot rely on reviews, reps or reputations on their own. You really need to dig deeper if you are spending good money. And more so, if you have a completive keyword/phrase.
There is just no magic bullet when it comes to selecting a reliable SEO company without having first -hand knowledge of SEO yourself.

SEO has always been a long-term effort for those who are successful at it. Choosing the SEO Company is largely about trusting that they are prepared for a long term effort. And knowing what that effort will involve.
