Im thinking of leaving Soft Layer. I like the 3gigs of BW a month, but anymore I dont even use 1 gig. My server keeps crashing at Soft Layer every month requiring an onsite reboot. No one can figure this out. My processes jump through the roof and crash the box. I cant figure out why, Im only running a handfull of wordpress sites anymore. Lots of old software and scripts, but they arent active.
Host Gator VPS seems to give me all the same things and softlayer, except its not a dedicated box, only 1 gig or 500 megs of transfer, and only 2 ips instead of 6. Whats the uptime, reliability, and transfer rate like?

3 gigs per month? You mean 3 terabytes? It looks like gb = tb and mb = gb... If it really is as you posted, then you can just use shared hosting.

I've been with Hostgator for 4 years and love it. I have multiple shared accounts and a VPS. I wouldn't use anything else.

Sorry, yes I ment terrabytes. 3000 gigabytes of transfer is my cap now but I use less 700 gigabytes.

I see they dont do IONcube, nothing about Zend. I dont think I am currently using anything though that uses those optimizers. Ive let everything else I use to do pretty much run into the ground and have been focusing on my offline businesses website and a few test projects.
