Stick at it!

I'm on twitter 24/7 and I've gained nearly 50k in followers.

Tips?

BE ACTIVE
Follow, FAV, RT and REPEAT
THESE PEOPLE WILL FOLLOW YOU BACK!

Use scrapers to target users who meet your niche/market, follow them manually.

Another important thing, FAV EVERYTHING in your newsfeed if the source is a followed user (not RT's)

When they get the alert 9x10 I get a follow back.

Then you can start exposing yourself to their networks.

Oh and of course, post engaging content!

I don't just it to sell, Twitter isn't a selling platform IMHO it is more about knowledge and info promotion... Then you can sell on your next funnel.

Use it to build a brand then convert the followers into sales through your site.

I work with many artists and businesses use twitter almost as your saying (with a twist of course)
I use special software to narrow down my potential followers right down to ones who are online that given second.

Yea. Good job. I just read a ton of twitter threads n blog posts on the inter webs. I was trying to put together the best way for me to build genuine targeted followers. Dedicate yourself to a consistent game plan and engage with people is definitely the key.

There is not much value in mass exchanges just to get numbers. It may only be valuable in the beginning. And there's definitely no value in buying followers that will most likely be fake accounts.

And always keep on tweeting what your audience wants to find.

Until you can post links on IG it will never take over Twitter. IG monetization is basically limited to selling shoutouts, which has a similar structure as a ponzi.
