This section is not for buying/selling sites, only discussing them.

When someone is asking for advice about their site DO NOT ask them to PM you with information because you want to buy it. A lot of threads get deleted around here because information seeking threads turn quickly into sales threads.

DO NOT post threads trying to sell your site but covering it up as something else. It will be deleted and it just wastes everyone's time.

Try with some temp bans, they will learn the lesson in the hard way..
I also hate when someone asks where to sell something, it is becoming a sales thread, without OP paying for jr vip or listing. Its just not fair for the fellas that pay and play by the rules!
 
It's not only the site flipping section. Lately it seems as though every nob is trying to sell his facebook page, twitter account etc by starting a thread like 'Hey, I got this since 2008, how much is this worth?'. I've given up on trying to set them right. Not too much of course I hope but every section needs a thread like this.

I can give you ph number of guy who offered me money ..as well as mine...i am not selling anything..i just wanted suggestion..i will never do anything which will hurt my repo in forum.
I had no idea of what you were saying..i even messaged u ..

But the thing is that ppl will still continue to do so.. Noobs can't read....
 
alright guys it has been awhile since i was on everyday but since i have been back i have to sift though so many threads to find real info on here there is alot of spoon feed noobs please slow it down this has spots for all threads just ask if you do not know so people can find what they need

I've got a funny story about this. I have a domain that I was going to call my business. When I went to search for domain name llc under Google I came up with another company that had the name already. So I went to their site, contacted them through the form, connected with the founders on LinkedIN, called and left a message at their office with the receptionist (I know big mistake) and these guys wouldn't budge. I even sent them a mail tube with a short letter and some coins in it LOL. No dice. They're a 7 figure company and I was only asking like $350 for the domain that matches exactly to their company name.

After the call, I started getting Wordfence notices regarding brute force attacks. I found that kinda funny. It's not like I was asking for an arm and a leg and maybe my approach wasn't the best but damn, all you had to do was call or email and I would've given you the damn domain. Geesh.
 
Who would want to sell a site here anyway.. A marketplace like FE or Empire will get you a better sales price anyway...
